Andre Agassi/2006 U.S Open

Featured Replies

What a match. It was like his match against Blake last year, only in reverse. Difference is, Agassi found a way to win both matches. I'm not even a big tennis fan normally, but his match against Blake last year and tonight's were 2 of the better sporting events I've watched in the last 12 months.

It's too bad Agassi got rid of his hair from the 80's...man he would of had an extra groupie to fondle with. The guy is a machine!

Agassi took a pre-emptive strike against nature when he cut off that hair. It wasn't entirely his choice.

Anyway...I turned this on just as the 4th set was beginning. It was pretty amazing.

Hopefully, Agassi has enough time to recover before his next match.

Still amazes me that the 21 year old was cramping while the 36 year continued on. Granted he doesn't look good running but he can still move. That was just a lot of fun to watch. He's is probably hurting pretty bad right now though.

He is supposed to play tomorrow, but there is more rain in the forecast. Be nice if he could get another match pushed back. His opponent will be Benjamin Becker. Ranked 112 in the world and 11 years younger than Andre.

I'm hoping for rain as well and he gets more time to rest.

The cramp couldn't have come at a better time for Andre though as he couldn't get any type of respectable serve over and had to go for the 65-70 mph one so he wouldn't double fault.

Absolutely epic.

Yeah, I was on pins and needles watching that last night. Baghdatis is awesome, he gives me someone to cheer for when Andre's gone. Outside of Blake, I can't stand any of the other stars, right now.

I don't watch much tennis, but what's up with these stocky players? During the Sampras/Agassi era, I remember players being on the scranny side. Pavel and Baghdatis, certainly didn't fit that description.

Please no rain ! I've got nice money on the underdog Becker. :thumbup

Another day of rest for Andre does not bode well for you. Of course, when it comes to betting, though, I'm usually wrong.
