I agree, but you can't walk two people, and leave hanging breaking ball out over the plate.

 

 

If Moehler has no control, he will not be effective. Period. He doesn't have the type of stuff where he can get away with being wild. As soon as I saw that he missed high with his first pitch, I knew it was gonna be a tough inning.

Yea but Cabrera did not get the throw off quick either and did not throw it to the right spot for Uggs to make the turn. If they do that correctly it is a double play

Moehler has an ERA over 6.00 because he's horrible MLB pitcher and not because of bad luck or because the defense lets him down. I have no idea why announcers, beat writers and fans continuously make excuses for that bum.

I have no problem with Moehler getting the start for today's game. His last couple long relief outings, have put him in my good graces. Nonetheless, knowing his history and the fact that he came out of the gates wild, then Girardi's finger should be hovering over the speed-dial button to the bullpen.
