October 4, 200322 yr I dont mean to sound as if i have no faith. Plz i just ask fellow marlins fans to have an open mind. not saying you guys dont just that i kno some may jump the gun and call me a bandwagoner... Ok well we have great momentum goin to game 4 where we could win it. Though if youlook @ game 3, we had ALOT of trouble gettin on base. We cannot rely on one guy to get us the runs, thats not how we got here and that not how were goin to win this series. This was a sloppy game it could have gone either way. the umpire sucked royally. i honestly believe we should havent gone to extra innings and should have won if it werent for the ump. Ok well tomm we have Scmidt. True some say hes comin in early and hasnt rested much while we have a fresh pitcher, but Schmidt IMO is the mirror opposite of Bonds when it comes to pitching. I mean he shut us down game one. I may be giving him too much credit i kno hes just human but hes good. Seeing as the marlins barely hit the bullpen today, will they have a chance tomm? Do you guys think they have a better idea of wut theyre up against in Schmidt? I wanna hear your guys' perspective
October 4, 200322 yr I agree, we have not played the best, but neither has the Giants. We cannot let our guards down tomorrow, we need to put them away early and score often.

October 4, 200322 yr Author Yea he made him fly out. So did Redman. Doesnt mean its going to happen all the time. Though there is nothing at all wrong w/ wishfull thinking. I guess we just have to wait till tomm and hope things go our way, and the marlins decide to wake up offenseively. If they dont theres no way we could beat schmidt. One thing we do have is momentum and high morale. That win over the giants today was a huge boost. We have a team w/ high hopes all we need is a team aimin for the fences or some doubles or singles!!!! Heres hopin for an NLCS birth!

No, the Giants HAVE to win 2 games. They dont HAVE to beat both Willis and Beckett. We may have not played well today. I would argue the Giants had a better game overall. We only had, what, 6 hits? Wekept getting men on base, but it takes 2 hits to score. We couldnt get that second hit. The Giants, they stranded A LOT of men tonight and had more chances than we did. So, they are going to be deflated right now. Tomorrow their backs will be against the wall, but we certainly smell blood...
