September 24, 200619 yr What's with people liking Willingham for ROY? The guy plays left field like my grandfather. because the ROY is offensive-first. defense doensn't really matter. Just like ortiz is being considered for MVP and his defense is even worse. I'm probably the only one on here that thinks Willingham plays adequate defense. probably not I never said Willingham should get any first place votes, all I said was if he had more at bats, he would definitely be considered that's true, I'm just pointing out that I think Willy plays good defense. I can't recall the last time I've seen him make an error (I might of been looking away or not watching the game). I've just been seeing him making the diving catches, like that one he made early on in Sanchez's no-hitter. Either you've managed to look away or not watch the game by coincidence about 40 times this year, or you have no idea what you're talking about.

Ryan Howard won the award last season because of what he 'projected' to do. For Sanchez to be 10-3 in 16 starts is just unbelievable. In a full season that's a 20 win total. As a rookie!
