JJ Redick Projected stats

Featured Replies

He is gonna hit 1-2 3 pointers a game he wont score too much but I think he is on a better team then most folks think nationally. They will make the playoffs. Give him 7-10 ppg I drafted him in one league for steals, FT, 3Pt

The Magic will go to the playoffs as a 5 seed or better.....I think and hope...... Fishfan79, you're right, most don't realize the talent this team has. I dont think anybody realizes how good Jameer Nelson is and Dwight Howard of course is known, but his dominance on the boards is amazing. Grant Hill? Healthy maybe? I'm excited about Darko, I think he will succeed but I'm glad Otis Smith is taking a wait and see attitude as far as contract talks are concerned.... Carlos Arroyo is one of the best in the world. I like Garrity, Turkoglu, Dooling, Bogans. I think it'll be an exciting year.

Carlos Arroyo is one of the best in the world.

Carlos Arroyo of the 6.8 PPG, 43% Field Goal Percentage, 3.0 APG, and 1.7 RPG?

I think 11-15 is totally acceptable.

I'm far more concerned with Darko and Dwight though.

If he averages 12ppg in his rookie season and after his early injuries, I'll be absolutely ecstatic.

First of all do you honestly think I care how i spelt his name?

Twerps is so dumb that's lamer than Terp fans calling Duke "Puke"

Wow Tarheel what a fan you have MIAMI as your avatar and signature.

Come on can't you guys just stick to the subject and give your thoughts?

I went with 6-10, but now I'm leaning towards 11-15..regardless he'll have a good year.

I've been wondering who's in Fox's sig..just figured that out.

Carlos Arroyo is one of the best in the world.

yes....best backup PG in the nba

He of the 6.8 PPG, 43% Field Goal Percentage, 3.0 APG, and 1.7 RPG in his career?

Yep, same one.... We all know that stats always tell the entire story....

I'm sorry I just have a hard time wrapping my mind around the idea that a guy who has never been a regular starter in the NBA and averaged all of 16 points and 4.6 assists in college (against subpar opposition, since he played for FIU) is the best backup point guard in the NBA, and according to your original post, one of the best in the world, period.

It doesn't make sense, is all I'm saying. He's a nice player, but there are literally dozens of better point guards.

He's a career backup for a reason.

That may be true...but they dont lie enough to make Arroyo "one of the best in the world"

My comment is simply based on Arroyo's dominance in World Championships including games against the US. I am not saying we should expect too much more from him than usual in the NBA and that is why I mentioned him towards the end of my post. Yes, it is almost humorous to see look at his stats and then see him dominate against the world and I am not saying he will dominate the NBA in the same manner.

I'm certainly very interested to see how Reddick will perform and what kind of role on the team. I really don't know what to expect, but it will certainly be nice to have another 3-point threat to go along with Turkoglu.

Redick won't be an NBA star...if I were to compare him to any player in the NBA, it would be Dan Dickau if Dickau was a few inches taller...a great shooter, but can't do much else

He'll be a good reliable guy off the bench, but I don't see him doing anything more than that

The energy he brings off the bench and the way he played last year is a big reason why the Magic had the best record in the NBA over the last month of the season. He's the best player from Puerto Rico, is having a good preseason, and I wouldn't trade him for any backup in the NBA.
