October 24, 200620 yr After hearing about how nice it was going to be today, I decided to open the windows. Holy f***ing sh*t. This is a nice change and everything but every two minutes comes a very strong gust of wind that almost knocks my window blinds totally horizontal. I'd close the windows but I'm saving too much money not using the AC. Anyone else down in South Florida experiencing this wind today?

October 24, 200620 yr Yup. Best time of the year. The weather is beautiful. Yes, yes it is. I love this time of year. This is the reason why South Florida is the best place to live, late October to March is just amazing down here.

October 24, 200620 yr This morning when I woke up and felt the cold for the first time I didn't get my hopes up, thinking it'd be back to being hot as balls by noon, like it does a lot of the time. I was pleasently surprised though, hopefully this keeps up.

October 24, 200620 yr I love this weather as well. When I woke up I was freezing and I turned my AC off. I went to the living room and it was still cold as hell. I went outside and was like "Holy crap, it's finally cold." This is the best weather ever.

Not all year round. When Santa Anna winds hit, its like this but hot. So imagine our normal weather with hot, sticky wind. Thats what its like there for two months out of the year. And when its not like that, during the summer, its 90 degrees with no breeze. We got a couple days last year that were 100+. I remember looking at a thermometer down in the east county that read 114 degrees. They do get days like this in the fall and winter but the summer is unbearable. It's not as good as you think it is there.

October 24, 200620 yr It was also windy a year ago today...that was Hurricane Wilma. Anyone remember October 25th the day after the storm? Not a cloud in the sky, morning temps in the low 50s and it topped out around 70 I think. Very similiar to today's weather.
