October 28, 200619 yr All I hear about all season long is about the National League and about how much it sucks, blah blah blah. "It doesn't matter who wins the National League, they stand no chance in the World Series." Guess freaking what? The NL didn't just win the World Series, they flat out crushed the winner of the American League. NL BASHERS PLEASE SHUT UP.

The only NL team i care about is the marlins, the rest of them can go to hell.

The Tigers basically gave that one away with all the errors and stupid stuff they did And a best of seven series really proves nothing as to what the better league is (or team for that matter)

Stop bringing our team down and say something positive for God's sake.

I think the tigers batting average for the WS was .199 ...
October 28, 200619 yr The AL, top to bottom, is still a much better league Top, yes. Bottom, maybe. The middle ranks without the Yankees and Red Sox, the talent is spread evenly across the leagues if not more pitching in the NL and more slugging in the AL*. * Even accounting for the DH, AL teams tend to bring in more slugging defensively-challenged hitters on the premise they can hide them by playing them at DH a bit.

Take away the Mets, and there's 9 teams in the AL better than anyone in the NL

Just because i don't like other teams in the NL don't mean i'm not a fan of the game.
October 28, 200619 yr AL Teams can't field bunts. Because they never bunt in the AL!! :lol :lol :lol :lol

October 29, 200619 yr As a fan of an NL team, that league still sucks. The Cardinals aren't very good either, they just got hot at the right time. Hey, but more power to them.
October 29, 200619 yr I really haven't considered this issue thoroughly (because I consider it to be pointless), but it seems like most AL proponents base everything on All Star Game and interleague records rather than looking at actual talent present. And during this season, the Tigers had more talent. Or so it appeared. But I guess none of that matters now.
