Regardless of what party or political theory you align yourself with, everyone pick an individual or organization generally thought of as being on the "other side" that you either agree with or at least respect. If you're a centrist just pick someone on either end. Can be a politician, media figure, organization, writer, whatever. Doesn't have to be an extremist, just pick someone that people wouldn't normally think you'd agree with or like (or at least respect). Just my little experiment.
October 30, 200619 yr I like John McCain, mostly because he's more moderate than many of the other senior Republican lawmakers (Hastert, Stevens, Frist, Bainer, etc.) It's becoming harder and harder to find common ground with the other side these days. And this time, it's not the Democrats' fault.
