October 31, 200619 yr heat AND panthers on national tv tonight...sweet Who? AND Panthers Corrected :thumbup
October 31, 200619 yr Seriously, the NBA regular season is damn near unwatchable. All it is is going through the motions, hoping none of your guys get hurt and getting to the playoffs. Rarely, if ever, does the best team lose (or not make it far in the playoffs). Plus, in Miami, the regular season just isn't fun to watch, the arena's always sold out, but the games are played in front of a bunch of empty seats, and there isn't that intensity around the team in the regular season that most other good teams have.
October 31, 200619 yr I'll be at the Panthers game tonight but I will be checking the Heat game like crazy. Basketball is finally back let's go Heat! I'll be at the Cats game tonight as well but will have my phone open all game checking the Heat score. GO HEAT!
October 31, 200619 yr College Basketball games are probably the most exciting sporting events (outside of good football games). well yea... :thumbup I hate watching the NBA. It would be on the bottom of my list of all the major sports, including college football and basketball Ya, it's all opinionated obviously. There are actually people who like to watch hockey out there too. Hockey is actually one of the most exciting sports there is. And it's one of the only sports that can actually call itself a sport anymore. I'll take watching a Panthers game over watching a Heat game with Dwayne "breathe on me and it's a foul" Wade any day of the week. If someone "fouls" you during a hockey game, it's legal to kick the sh*t out of them.
October 31, 200619 yr Can't wait for Bulls basketball. Hinrich, Gordon, Deng and Nocioni should all be improved, which could be scary with Big Ben and PJ clogging up the lane. Our defense should be second to none. The depth of this team is amazing. Should be a good year. The problem is on a good night, they've got one guy who can light up the scoreboard. On a normal night, they've got a couple of 15 point scorers, and a bunch of stoppers. I really think though you will see Hinrich, Deng and Nocioni keep improving. We saw the vast improvement of Nocioni at the end of the year compared to when he first entered the league so hopefully he continues to build on that. From what I've heard, Hinrich's shot looks to be improved. And I really think Deng could end up being the best player on this team.. he is a matchup nightmare. What is he, 21 years old? Should be interesting. Depth and defense is what makes up for our lack of post scorer and everyday big name scorer.

Yeah, it's kinda like that everywhere....take all the "Marlins fans" who showed up at the playoffs who couldn't name a damn player on the roster during the regular season.

Why are you comparing yourself to fans who are utter sh*t? Is that what you are? I know youre not a fairweather fan but come on man just cause the Sixers have been bad you dont have to be so bitter about basketball. This "Football" season college and NFL have been the most depressing football seasons ever yet football as a whole is still up there for me as far entertainment. 1) MLB Baseball 1a) NFL/College Football 1b) NBA Basketball

As much as I love my Miami Heat it's hard to find a more exciting sport to watch then Hockey. Non stop action. In fact I am missing tonight's Heat opener to go to the Panthers game. So there you go :thumbup

Have a good time, Jon and go Panthers! :thumbup
October 31, 200619 yr To anyone going tonight, don't forget to wear white. Heat'll be in the reds, but the fans are meant to do the white hot thing again.

November 1, 200619 yr I figured we'd start out slow, so I'm definitely not worried. Shaq is going to need a good 15 games before he starts really feelin it again. Flash has that outside jumper on point...but now I'm kinda worried he won't get to the rim as much
