October 9, 200322 yr To be able to win this series, the Marlins are going to have to beat Wood or Prior at least once and probably twice. Tonight was a night when Prior was NOT that dominant(to his standards), giving up plenty of hits and runners were on base. Penny and co blew this one big time and I hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.. Anyway, you can look at it with the glass half full or half empty. before the series began All i wanted was to come back to Miami with a series split, and thats what we got...But at the same time we lost a game where Prior was not the usual Prior, and that probably won't happen again. Hope the Pro is packed on Friday and there's some serious noise...I know i'll be there.
October 9, 200322 yr I agree. I thought for sure Prior would get rocked tonight. The weather favors both teams' offenses. But only the Cubs brought their bats tonight. I am curious to see how this team responds. I think Penny is going to be moved to the bullpen, I cant see us sending him back out there again in this series. Not after that heartless performance tonight. He was in love with his fastball, had no location, was not on the same page as Pudge, and did not seem to care at all out there. Disgusting.

October 9, 200322 yr I think most reasonable folks would be happy with the split. Coming back home where we've won like 20 out of 24 (that's not exact). I'm going to all three games at the Pro. I just can't believe I'm going to be attending the NLCS at the Pro this year...I never would've thought. So, I'm going to have a blast, and if the Cubs outplay us, then so be it. I like our chances, though. I think we'll take 2 out of 3, and then we'll have to win one against Wood and Prior in Wrigley. We can do that, no question.
October 9, 200322 yr Don't know what got into Penny...Did he forget he has more then 1 pitch to throw. Yes,put Penny in the pen and use him during night games at JRS only. Should Cabs get the start at short tommorow? Sea bass has been as reliable as Redman at the plate(Standing runners like crazy,Conine must been frustrated.) but his defense would be missed...I would take some more hitting and substract a little glove. The guys were joking and loose on the bench which is a good sign....They just have to forget about this and remember that tommorow is another day.

October 9, 200322 yr can you see it? even if alex hits, we cant score 7 runs to match what cubs would have gotten. alex hit cant make penny suddenly have his command. penny just was bound for a lose. 12-2 common. pieree and castillo didnt hit today. if they cant do it nobody can. i though that wasnt a secret?

Jack should switch Pavano with Penny on the rotation, although Pav had some shaky starts in the season, I think he's well rested and he's definitely helped us coming off the bench. f*** AGOn...although he's one of the best defensive ss in the league, he's playing like s***. Play Cabs in ss..lowell seems to have the hot hand, and conine is playing great...seating him would be ridiculous. I agree with everyone....playing a gon shortens our lineup to 7...he's had important at bats and he hasn't produced. back to Pro...It's our house...the Cubbies are going down, they won't handle the crowd!!!!!!! I agree with PR man, put cabrera in short and take him out, the pitching has to come around like before... It's ok we had four wins in a row, we were bound to lose, better sooner than later... Now we can really shut em up... GO MARLINS

It's time for Pudge and Lowell to show what they're made of. This is crazy. Here at the University of Pennsylvania the Marlins fans are taking over. Girls are stripping down their clothes, lesbians are making out, and things are starting to make sense again. LET'S GO MARLINS!!!
