Defensive Player of the Year

Featured Replies

congrats to JT, the best ever dolphins defensive player. Hopefully see him in the HoF 5 years after he retires.

Zach Thomas has something to say about that.

shawne merriman was in third place for the award....in my opinion, he doesn't belong on the ballot for taking steroids. champ bailey was in second, ray lewis got fourth and some other raven got fifth.

For as good as Zach is and in my opinion he is HOF caliber, JT is the best defensive player the Dolphins have ever had. JT is a freak.

No he doesn't.

A young Taylor was an absolute freak of nature, and on the wrong side of 30 he's still a beast and now has the hardware to back it up.

Both are hall of famers, both are going in the ring of honor, but Taylor's the best.

I love Zach, I will love watching him play till the day I die. But, Jason is a definite hall of famer and Zach will be borderline. Jason could be considered with one of the top DE/OLB ever. (not counting LT of course).
