marlinsfan75
It's not just the picture but the sound being in 5.1 is nice too. You hear more sidetalk and chatter from the fans. There was always this one guy near one of the mics last year that would yell the funniest stuff. I could never hear that on standard definition. Thanks for the schedule Cape. DelGOT2Rings
So, if I have DishNetwork I'm SOL?
CapeFish
So, if I have DishNetwork I'm SOL? From my talks with FSN and Dish, FSN has given Dish the right to carry the HD feed, Dish has not just figured a way to do it that they are comfortable with. I suggest you contact Dish and complain. poptart
awesome! and since this is a tv thread, i got a question: in tampa, if a d-rays game and a marlins game are being played at the same time, they show the d-rays game?
marlinz_fan
So, if I have DishNetwork I'm SOL? Why would you have ever chosen The DishNetwork ?
DelGOT2Rings
So, if I have DishNetwork I'm SOL? Why would you have ever chosen The DishNetwork ? i live in a condo, and my cable is "powered" by dish network. That means I have dish network but I pay way too much for it to a third party who has wired my condo with a cable/sat. hybrid system. If I put DirecTV on my balcony, the condoboard would fine me, so I gave in. DishNetwork is ok, but its HD programming is limited, as demonstrated here. I am not into letter writing, but I think this situation calls for a nasty one on legal letterhead.

I am not into letter writing, but I think this situation calls for a nasty one on legal letterhead. You are aware that it is a Federal violation for your condo board to fine you if you put a satellite dish on your balcony!! No condo declaration nor local regulation can prohibit the placement of any "over the air receiving device" ("OTARD") if placed in an area upon which the resident has exclusive control (i.e., the balcony of your condo is a limited common element upon which you have exclusive control over). Your condo can prohibit you from attaching it to the building (because the walls are a common element that you do not have exclusive control over), but if you place your dish on a tripod on your balcony (and as long as it faces southwest), you will be able to get DirecTV. I've re-written hundreds of condominium declarations because of the FCC OTARD regulations and there are plenty of decisions from the FCC ruling against condominium and homeowners association boards throughout the country on this same issue. Seriously, if you get any "lip" from your condo association, I'll take your case on (you will win and the condo association will pay your legal fees thanks to Chapter 718, Florida Statutes and your condo declaration), just send me a message. CapeFish
awesome! and since this is a tv thread, i got a question: in tampa, if a d-rays game and a marlins game are being played at the same time, they show the d-rays game? Right now, there is no conflict as the Marlins and Rays should not have games on the same day in HD. If the Rays are on FSN, the Marlins are on SUN. If the Marlins are on FSN, the Rays are not on TV or on ION.

CapeFish
HEY GUYS HOW CAN I GET IT HERE IN NORTH CAROLINA? CAPE HAS ANY INFO, anybody? Send me via message please, thanks. In North Carolina, you have to hope that DirecTV's Extra Innings package carries the Marlins games in HD every so often as part of their HD Extra Innings schedule.
