WHAT A f***TASTICAL GAME!!!!

WERE GOING BACK TO CHICAGO, WE HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

JUST GO OUT AND PLAY BASEBALL GUYS!!

This game was a real confidence booster for this team! They are going to come out fired up and ready to play like always come Tuesday night!!

GO MARLINS!!! :w00t

We MUST improve our pitching and hitting these next two games in Chicago. We're facing Prior and Wood. EVERY RUN MATTERS.

I don't know how you can improve on todays pitching performance.

GO CUBS!

I like the Marlins and originally wanted them in the World Series, but now that the Cubs are in it, I just can't help but chear for the poor cubbies. But no matter who comes out of the NL I will cheer for because of the Red Sox conduct and the Yankees just piss me off.

Haha actually I'm a Twins fan hoping for a Twins/Marlins series.

But now that theres the prospect of the Cubs going to the WS I would love it. And after seeing the Red Sox conduct on field yesterday against the Yanks I could give a sh*t who comes out of the AL.

Stick to the other forums, Phlub.

Redman has being solid in the postseason and Pavano can give 6 or 7 strong innings. We're going to need our pen to step up. We could easily be leading the series right now 3-2 if our pen would have held on in game 3.

Redman was great on Friday. He deserved the W. He, like the others on the staff, did not got many calls for strikes. BUT he found ways around it, something the others up until today did not do, and gave up just two runs on a mastery of a pitching performance beaten in this series only by Josh today (and I'm talking about both staffs here). I think Big Red can do it again in Game 7, just step up and get the ball to him. That is where our boy Carl comes in. If he continues what he has been doing out of the pen, we'll be punching our tickets for New England after all.

Everyone will need to step up...The most important keys will be for Castillo and Pierre to get on base so that Pudge or Cabrera can drive them in to score...When this happens we win most of our games. It may be hard for Pavano to out-pitch Prior but with the momentum the Marlins have gained I believe he can...

And I don't want to be reminded of game 3.

Bring back Dream On! (sorry, random thought)

Lets be blunt about this. Everyone must step up, plain and simple. They've been doing it all year, lets just keep it going.

LETS GO FISH! LETS GO FISH!

The marlins also better start hitting with RISP. We cant rely on the long ball against Prior and Wood.

Lee comes to mind. he needs to step up desperately.

and of course whoever starts whether Penny or Pavano (hopefully Carl) needs to go strong and give at least 6 strong innings

Any thoughts on the starting Lineup? We did win today, however it was mostly because of Beckett shuting down the Cubs offense. I would like to see Cabrera at short and Encarnacion back in Rightfield.

Possibly Conine starting at 1st and Hollandsworth in Left?

Um.....why? You just put Cabs in left if you want Conine at first. And this lineup won, you don't tinker with a winner.

all i know is that Lee better start hiting the damn ball somewhere other than a Cub's glove. even agon got some hits this series.

Lee is fan-f**king-tastic at 1st though. at least his D hasnt gone down.

Why Cant We rely on the long ball from Wood or Prior

Alex sure liked to rely on it LOL

Naw man, just leave Alex be for now. He at least made contact more often than not today.

I think you have to keep Lee and Alex in the linep for their Defense and also find a way to keep both Lowell and Cabrera in the lineup. Conine should be given a day off. He's getting over powered by the Cub's righthanders, but he's making lefties pay. Meanehile Juan has being hiting only hanging curves and Prior and Wood dont make to many mistakes. It'll be interesting to see what Mackeon does.
