My wife and two kids, mother and father in law, an uncle, brother and sister in law with their two kids, and one more friend (11 total) are flying over from California for that game (I wish I could go, but I have finals the next week).

Gotta cheer on Ricky Nolasco in his first start of the year! Go Fish!

Awesome. Too bad you have finals - maybe you can some how take the final on the plane with you :mischief2 .

No can do. Just found out Ricky's probably not starting too, Mitre's out of options and his arm can't handle the pen's workload, so he's gonna start. Boo.

Well if you buy your tickets at the gate, you avoid those bulls*** Ticketmaster service fees.

But this year if you buy at the gate on the day of the game you get charged 4 or 5 bucks by the Marlins. The most ridiculous decision of the offseason, it will hurt the size of walkup crowds without a doubt.

The new charge dosen't affect us any way at all, but I wonder how they are going to handle the voucher redemptions on game day purchases.

My prediction is around 40K for Friday and 35K for Saturday.

i do see 40,000 on friday because all fishtank have sold out and outfield too and most all low seat have been sold i think only seat that not sold out is upper deck and saturday i notice their open more seat in fish tank i got two ticket last weekend for me and wife and i got friday ticket during fan fest

I cant remember the last time we opened the season on a Friday. That should really help attendance. Usually opening days are on Monday afternoon. I am going with....ah hem....

Friday: 45,238 + me hangin over the wall in right center

Saturday: 46,162 + me hanging over the wall in right center. NO MORE 6PM SATURDAY GAMES! YESSSSSS!

Sunday: 25,976 - me, I can't go....

I'll be there with the girlfriend and two other friends. She bought the tickets and I believe we're sitting by the visitors bullpen. I say 39,000 for opening night.

HEY!!! That's my wall. I will be there all 3 games. The wife has to work Saturday evening. Actually I will probably make all 6 games of this homestand. I like to start the season out on the right foot. Gotta break in the new beer guy.
