There are still singles in the infield box and pairs in the upper deck (both behind home-plate) a lot of tickets for events like this are held by the organization for late season ticket sales.

2 to 3 days before the event should give a much better indication of how crowded it will be.

PS: anyone notice that the Marlins are selling the batter's box seats on ticket-master now? We're really hard up... :confused

I tried getting tickets late last night online. There really are not tickets left. Should be a packed house.

you can find plenty at stubhub and other ticket brokers

If we can get to 40,000 I will be happy.

I just hope we dont start off as poorly as we did last season (11-31) so that attendance will be better than lasts years.

i remember going to box office during fan fest their soldout fish tank and i try to get fishtank for saturday game that same week their have fish sold out BUT i check last week their open more fish tank ticket for saturday

I'd like to be there, but it appears sold out...

The home opener is sold out?

Fish tank is, and I'm a bit too poor at the moment for anything else...

I checked ticketmaster and the upper deck is open. Pretty good seats up there.

Well if you buy your tickets at the gate, you avoid those bulls*** Ticketmaster service fees.

or the Marlins store if you live in Miami, Coral Gables, South Miami, etc...

I say less than 40K, although I'll be there. Is it just me, or has this been the least "pubbed" Marlins opener ever? Usually there is at least "bad" press, but this year there seems to be no Marlins news other than stadium news.

i'll be making the long drive from gainesville to miami two weeks after the home owner against the nationals i expect me and 9,000 other hearty souls will be rooting the marlins on. i hope the opener draws 45k but i think it will be around 35k

My wife and two kids, mother and father in law, an uncle, brother and sister in law with their two kids, and one more friend (11 total) are flying over from California for that game (I wish I could go, but I have finals the next week).

Gotta cheer on Ricky Nolasco in his first start of the year! Go Fish!
