I know guys that played several seasons with him and they are all shocked at the season he's having so far. NOBODY saw this coming and it will not last. He'll be a perennial all-star eventually, but he won't be an A-Rod.

Though he was noted as a 5 tool player and a top prospect, his numbers weren't off the charts or indicative of what he's done in the majors.
