July 25, 200719 yr After three years, the NBA and ABC wisely concluded the novelty has worn off Shaq vs. Kobe/Heat vs. Lakers on Christmas. Instead, word is the NBA will have the Heat play in Cleveland on Christmas, creating a Dwyane Wade vs. LeBron James matchup. Though the schedule circulating is tentative, Heat-Cavs is expected to be one of two ABC games that day, a league source said. The Heat is tentatively set to open at home against Detroit on Nov. 1. Thank goodness. The NBA's love affair with Kobe/Shaq was really worn out. This should be a fun game. http://www.miamiherald.com/588/story/181316.html
July 25, 200719 yr Suns/Spurs would be much better. I never watch the game anyways so who am I to comment. :lol
July 25, 200719 yr Yeah, two mediocre teams with little chance of making the playoffs this year. That'd be amazing.
July 25, 200719 yr Yeah, two mediocre teams with little chance of making the playoffs this year. That'd be amazing. Fox with an unnecessary sarcastic comment? I've never seen this before. God forbid anyone say ANYTHING he disagrees with. He will now respond with some other sarcastic comment and use that dumb ass smiley that looks like he's jacking off.
July 25, 200719 yr I loved the Lakers vs Heat on Christmas even though I dont celebrate Christmas, but they're the past, and , James and Wade are now, and the future.

What? It is! Amazing! Stop taking someone having alternative opinions personally. When we aren't allowed to disagree or have a different view here, I'll gladly leave.
July 25, 200719 yr Its a shame the game will be in Cleveland, I enjoyed going to the matchup here the last couple of years. Still though, after last years game, it was really obvious the Lakers-Heat series needed to end
July 25, 200719 yr How about letting Miami players spend the Christmas holiday with their families for once?

August 2, 200719 yr Got my wish. http://www.nba.com/features/keydates_070802.html December 25 - A New Holiday Tradition Miami @ Cleveland, 2:30 p.m. ET, ABC Phoenix @ LA Lakers, 5 p.m. ET, ABC Seattle @ Portland, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN Sure, turkey is a great holiday staple, but sometimes, it's nice to try something new, like going out for Chinese food when the neighbor's dogs invade your house and eat the stuffed bird. So, how about we try D-Wade, Shaq and LeBron on Christmas this year? And better yet, let's get the Suns and Lakers together too. And to top it off, let's see what all the hype is about with the first ever matchup of Greg Oden and Kevin Durant. Awesome.
August 3, 200719 yr I just hope they can ruin Cleveland's christmas like they ruined LA's the last few years.
August 3, 200719 yr Id rather see the Spurs play Phoenix than the Kobes, but I really like that tripleheader.
