September 27, 200719 yr Yes, the Marlins are winding down a terrible year, tied for the second-worst record in the majors. But it hasn't been all bad news. This week, Hanley Ramirez and wife Elisabeth welcomed baby boy Hansel, reported to be the hospital's only five-tool infant and already dominating nap time. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/columnis...ory/247577.html ETA- Opening Day 2028 Ramp should have the 411 on what's going on behinds the scenes.
September 27, 200719 yr I know the results aren't quite there on the field yet, but I'm in love with Hansel's potential. I think he just needs a little time to develop; I mean, he's still growing and his power should only increase. Guy's gonna be a beast. I know I've seen at least a couple people on this board label this guy a bust already (I won't mention names, but we all know who I'm talking about), but I think that's way too premature.
September 27, 200719 yr The strength in his kick and his finger grab at this point just oozes 40 HR potential.

September 27, 200719 yr I just hope they don't bring him up too soon... wait 'til his teens at least.
September 27, 200719 yr If the Marlins were smart they'd lock this kid up right now with a 30 year contract, quickly, before the agent for Tiger Woods baby comes knocking on his crib.
