Starbury's

Featured Replies

Have two pairs, love them. Also bought a NY Knicks swingman jersey. Looks exactly, only that it says Starbury instead of Knicks. For $10. Also have the shorts and a nice sweatshirt. Now Big Ben has released new ones, and trust me, they look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. $15 also. They will probably release the "Bulls" Jersey as well. Too bad the closest store is in Orlando. Will go there and buy as m,any pairs as I can. They look like the TMacs, I can buy the four models for $60. I can afford expensive shoes but not this many. These are a steal. Shaq should join the revolution and leave Payless. Does anyone know whether the Miami Branch is gonna open? We would start seeing a lot more of these if it does open. Link to Big Ben Shoes . Ill probably buy all 4 pairs. Does anyone else like them or is it just me?

Why not just give me your address and I'll forward you some of my premium toilet poop.

Those are real generic, not saying it isn't a good idea, it's good for kids who can't afford the Jordan's. But those are just so blah.

If you havent worn Starbury's, they feel really good as well. In Big Ben's first game wearing them, he collected 19 rebound. Not bad. They are great for any level of basketball, not just todlers

I sort of like Big Ben's shoes, it would be nice to pay only $15 for a pair of decent looking shoes for casual wear. Stephon Marbury's shoes are ugly though.

OMG, their 15 dollars hense must be sh*t.

Cut open a pair of jordan's, cut open a pair of starbury's. Same material, last essentially the same amount with Jordan's having a slight edge, but if you want to open up a stat's book the cost of a starbury far offsets the minimal difference between it and a pair of Jordan's. Their's actually been a couple of studies on this so it's not me speaking out of my ass for a change.

I laugh at the whole mindset that something that is cheap can not be effective or quality. Yeah, we're the idiots not the person who's pairing a premium for brand name despite the fact that it's probably produced in the same factory as the cheaper alternative.

Let's face it you're entire arguement is that Nike and Reebok hire better 8 year old chinese peasants to craft their shows while S&B has the lesser 8 year olds.

He's too young to remember what the Heat-Knicks rivalry was like. But, yeah, Heat fans should never ever where Knicks gear.

How is this Knick's gear? One shoe of about 20 has actual knick colors the rest have nothing to do with the Knicks.

I'm a little baffled here, would a person not be a true heat fan say if he ate New York styled pizza?

It depends on who does it.

If its a poster that hates the Knicks and calls out people for wearing affordable shoes of a guy who is a member of that team, then no, eating New York style pizza is ok.

I wouldnt be surprised to see some high schools or colleges with limited budgets sign deals with Starbury to be quite honest.

The shoe and jersey designs are pretty decent, and would look good and be cost effective for schools with a budget that doesnt lean towards extravagance.

Also bought a NY Knicks swingman jersey.

I don't give a sh*t either way, but I think that is what they are getting at.

I am too young to remember the Knicks rivalry but am aware of it. The shoes I have dont have anything to do with the Knicks. They are not the ones on the pic though. I never hated the Knicks though. Only teams I hate are Pistons, and Lakers. They're shoes, come on. If youre actually on the store, and see them for $15, youll buy them, TRUST ME

Being aware of it is nowhere near experiencing it. Trust me, you would never wear Knicks gear if you had been there.

I remember it somewhat.

I was Zo's biggest fan back then.

If they are good enough for a spacewalk, they are good enough for basketball.

I'd like to say that I hate the f***ing Knicks. I hated them more in the late 90's. There was a time when Admin Johnson was my least favorite person in the whole world. The site of him to this day makes me angry.

This is what they are talking about. Any self respecting Heat fan would never wear a Knicks jersey. I HATED John Starks.
