Total crap. There is no suspense. The acting is terrible. Sarah Connor is 32 with a 16 year old son? The dialogue is total cheese.

 

It would have been better if it were a SciFi channel production. Seriously.

And if I remember correctly, she was about 18 when she was pregnant in T1, right?

I really like it although the pilot was better than the 2nd episode big time.

Chick from Serenity? She is a TerminatriX. Remember in T2 when Arnold was sent back to protect them ["come with me if you want to live"]? They are using her instead. :thumbdown

teenybop Terminators? ugh.

One thing I did like about the second episode is that it explained the necessity to jump forward in time. It stuck with the original storyline, by confirming that Sarah is supposed to die in 2005 (as stated in T3), and that's how they are going to be able to make a series out of this. Basically, it's an alternate timeline now.

Actually, she appears two years after T2 (they mention the continuum in the pilot). John is 15 now, whereas he was 13 in T2 if I recall correctly. So Arnold's T2 exploits did happen, the new android just came afterward.

i really have liked the first two shows so far...they dont contradict the movies too badly and they are using some pretty interesting concepts

And while I may be one of the few, I think both episodes have been excellent thus far and how they have just about everything set up to expand upon the original source material from the movies. It may still be early, but I think the show has a lot of potential if they keep doing it right.

Well damn, I was off. So they tinkered with the ages in the storyline, whatever. I'm still gonna watch it and you can't go a damn thing about it!!!!

I watch this show for some reason, but no matter how hard I try, I can't make it be 24.

Pretty cool so far, I like the concept of a whole network of resistance fighters being setback to ensure John Conner's survival. The cute terminator is justified as she is specialized to gain access to John Conner discreetly, Arnold was just a standard drone while she seems to have some special abilities.
