On last night's Smackdown, it was announced that Rey would take on Edge in a re-match for the World Title at No Way Out. Also, an Elimination Chamber match was signed for the PPV, with Kane, Undertaker, Great Khali, Big Daddy V, Batista and MVP participating- the winner will face the World Champ at WrestleMania.

Awesome, so there are going to be two elimination chamber matches?

Not really a surprise. It's almost guaranteed that Trips will win the Chamber, and I'd rather see Cena vs. Triple H at WM than Triple H vs. Orton.

I dont think they would do this, but what about Cena beating Orton and then Jeff Hardy winning the chamber?

Cena-Hardy?

I think that would be a great match somewhere down the line, like this fall or something....I'd like to see more than just a month of buildup for it. And I don't think WWE trusts Hardy enough to main event WrestleMania. But he is a dark-horse for that match, I guess.

My prediction:

Cena beats Orton via DQ or Orton blatantly cheats to win, or Cena wins the title and Orton opts to use the rematch clause...Jeff Hardy wins the elimination chamber but Triple H somehow gets into the main event, making it a fatal four way with Cena vs. Orton vs. hardy for Triple H...you basically have to look at all the possibilities containing these four guys:

1. Triple H faced Cena in the main event at Wrestlemania just two years ago

2. Triple H faced Orton (twice) for the title at No Mercy, which was just in October and have faced off so many times (they had a half year feud in 04/05, the DX/ RKO feud in late 06/ early 07, and two matches at No Mercy), that I doubt people would really care enough

3. Jeff Hardy just faced Orton at the Royal Rumble, and they're not going to have a wrestlemania main event that they had on a PPV just two months earlier, and Hardy-Cena i don't see happening...besides, there's no way Triple H is not going to be in the main event

I think at the very least, it will be a triple threat...because of the reasons stated above, the two possibilities with Triple H won't draw much, and considering that Jeff Hardy is probably the most over guy in the company, like Rey Mysterio was two years ago, that they gotta put him in the main event match...and having three faces just won't work, so they gotta throw in the top heel...or they may decide Jeff Hardy's not quite ready to main event Wrestlemania, but still decide that they need it to be a triple threat, making it Orton vs. Cena vs. Triple H

Basically, the main event at wrestlemania will likely be one of the following:

Fatal four way

Cena vs. Triple H vs. Orton

Hardy vs. Triple H vs. Orton

TONIGHT: John Cena and Randy Orton sign their No Way Out contract tonight. Also, Hornswoggle becomes the first to join the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club in HD! Sometimes, I?m glad I don?t have Hi-Def. This?.will be one of those times. And expect a Patriots reference.

-WWE Open.

-RAW Open.

-13,562 fans, fireworks, and the announcers welcomed us to the University of Texas for RAW. Tonight, John Cena faces Mark Henry in an arm-wrestling match and Hornswoggle is forced to join the Kiss My Ass Club.

-It appears we?ll begin with the contract signing. Orton was in the ring and said Cena?s word means nothing to him, so he wants this title match in writing. Orton told Cena to come on down if he really wants to fight at the PPV. Cena came out and quickly signed the contract. Orton said if Mark Henry injures Cena?s newly-healed pec tonight in their arm-wrestling match, their match at No Way Out was still on. Henry ran down to the ring, distracting Cena, and allowing Orton to hit the RKO.

[break]

-SCHEMING~! backstage were Orton and Henry. Todd Grisham interrupted asking why the set Cena up like that. Orton played innocent while Henry played tough.

(1) Kelly Kelly & Mickie James vs. Victoria & Beth Phoenix

Kelly bridged out of a pin and got a backslide, then a roll-up. She ended up getting clotheslined down though, and hair-pulled. Kelly got away the second time and tagged Mickie, who head-scissored her way into the ring. Beth shook the top rope, knocking Mickie off, though she didn?t come down as gracefully as Candice. Mickie looked in a guillotine submission, but Beth got out. Victoria tagged in and speared Kelly- that allowed Mickie to catch her and pin her after a Tornado DDT.

Winners: Mickie & Kelly at 2:42. Pretty decent match. Kelly looked competent.

-Regal was backstage telling Hornswoggle he should be proud to join the Kiss My Ass Club.

[break]

-Shawn Michaels came out. JR noted that Triple H was not at the arena due to a family emergency. Remember the LAST time we heard that? HBK said last year at WM, he came close to beating Cena. He said 2nd place isn?t good enough for him. Michaels said despite his awesome career, he?s not satisfied. He told those in the Chamber match to look out. That brought out Y2J. Jericho said he was with HBK up until he inferred that he?d win the match at No Way Out. Jerich said no-one has been in more Chamber matches than him. Jeff Hardy came out next. Hardy said he?ll do whatever it takes to win at the PPV. Then JBL interrupted, leaving Hardy with the least mic time, not surprisingly. JBL insulted Texas, his former home-state. JBL said the difference between them and him is that JBL gets what he wants. He said he paid off Umaga to ensure he wins the Chamber match. Then Umaga came out and stared at JBL. Snitsky?s music hit next and he said they all had their chances and that he deserves a shot in the Chamber. ?Brush your teeth? chants from the crowd. He said he?ll take someone?s spot if he has to. HBK said he doesn?t deserve anything except a good dental hygienist. Things broke down into a pier-six brawl until William Regal stopped it, announcing a six-man tag for later in the show.

[break]

(2) Mr. Kennedy vs. Super Crazy

Low dropkick from Kennedy. He then hit a knee, then a drop-toe hold. KK worked the leg, with the story being him previewing his match with Flair at NWO. Kennedy wrapped Crazy?s leg around the ring post. He then blocked an enziguiri and applied an inverted figure-four for the submission win.

Winner: Kennedy at 2:30.

Kennedy got his mic and showed a clip from ?last night?s? Friday Night Smackdown, with MVP getting DQ?d in his match with Flair, then attacking him after the bell. Kennedy said he?d give Flair an opportunity next week to forfeit the match at No Way Out. If he doesn?t, Kennedy said Flair will walk with a limp for the rest of his life after their match.

[break]

-Mike Adamle previewed the Elimination Chamber match, then we got the Chamber video. I really like the Seether song they?re using as the theme for No Way Out.

(3) Santino Marella & Carlito vs. Brian Kendrick & Paul London

Kendrick was all offense until Santino pulled open the ropes and Brian fell to the outside. London chased Santino around the ring while Carlito nailed the Back-Stabber for the pin?.already?

Winners: Marella & Carlito at 1:09. Is London not healthy enough to fight yet?

-Backstage, Vince McMahon was getting his ass buffed. He then requested a dollop of ass cream. Hornswoggle joins the club?next!

[break]

-Vince McMahon came out and said he has set an example of his employees by having them kiss his ass. Vince scolded parents for not disciplining their kids enough. He said no one administers tough love anymore. He?s not in favor of time-outs or forcing kids to stand in a corner. He wanted all the kids in the arena to stand up and be recognized. Vince called every one of them a spoiled brat. He blamed the parents. Finally, after that bizarrely long rant, he brought out Hornswoggle. Vince got down on one knee and told Horny that this will hurt him more than his son. Vince pulled his pants down and hitched up his under-shorts. Hornswoggle refused. After some time, he gave in. As he was about to kiss it, Finlay?s music played. The Irishman came out and yelled, ?what?s wrong with you?? at Vince. Vince said tonight is about discipline and Finlay can kiss his ass after Hornswoggle. Finlay ordered Hornswoggle to stay back, then whispered something to him. Horny bit Vince?s butt as the crowd had no reaction. That had to be disappointing. Vince said, because of all the fans laughing at that (they weren?t), next week, he?s going to take on his son in a match. And if Finlay gets involved, he?s fired.

[break]

-JR plugged the six-man tag match for later tonight.

(4) Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

Holly took down Murdoch, but Trevor got an inverted atomic drop and a kick to the face. Side Russian leg sweep from Cade after a tag. Holly got a dropkick in, and both men made tags. Nice bulldog from Cody for two. Back-body drop and a DDT from Rhodes after attempted interference by Cade. Pin was academic.

Winners: Holly & Rhodes at 3:16. This was on the way to becoming a good match.

Carlito and Santino came out after the match. Carlito said they were just announced the new #1 contenders for the tag titles. Santino insulted the champs and said they have as good a chance at retaining the titles as Maria does posing for Playboy.

-Cena faces Henry in an arm-wrestling match, later tonight.

[break]

-The Divas talked about their appearance on ?Project Runway.?

-JR and King previewed the No Way Out lineup.

-All three faces made their entrance for the six-man tag match, which is coming up after the break.

[break]

Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho vs. Snitsky, JBL & Umaga

HBK chopped at Umaga, who missed a sit-down splash. A headbutt greeted Y2J upon his entrance into the match. Snitsky came in and missed his running kick. Jeff tagged in and Jericho got down on all fours, allowing Hardy to splash Snitsky. JBL went to work on Hardy after a tag, but Jeff hit a mule kick. HBK tagged in and tagged Snitsky with a flying forearm. Snitsky missed another running boot and Michaels applies his leg-lock, which was broken up by Umaga. Things started breaking down and all three faces planchad onto the heels on the outside, leading to a break.

[break]

It?s Snitsky and Jericho in there out of break. The heels illegally worked Jericho over in their corner. Samoan drop by Umaga for two. Big kick by JBL as the heels are rotating the beatings on Y2J. Jericho finally got the best of Umaga and was able to tag Jeff. Whisper in the Wind on Snitsky and everybody came in and hit their finishers. Hardy ended up pinning Snitsky after a Swanton.

Winners: Hardy, HBK and Y2J at 10:12. Good match, except for the usual extended Umaga rest period.

-Cena is walking backstage, on his way to the ring for his arm-wrestling match.

[break]

-Candice returns to RAW?but no date is given.

-The arm-wrestling contest was the main event. John Cena came out first. Henry was next. Henry stalled as expected, but once they got started, Henry got the advantage. As usual, once Cena started coming back, Randy Orton attacked. They didn?t last long as Cena came back and Orton ran. Cena picked up Henry and FU?d him. I?m begging someone to change up the formula for the arm-wrestling gimmick. Then again, I?d prefer to never see it again.

OVW is no longer going to be a developmental territory for WWE. All contracted wrestlers will be going down to Florida to wrestle for FCW (Florida Championship wrestling), owned by current WWE agent Steve Keirn. Billy Kidman has also been brought aboard as a trainer to replace Al Snow, who was let go.

WWE sent this out in a press release today.

TONIGHT: A quadruple main event in the go-home show for No Way Out: John Cena vs. Mark Henry, HBK vs. Jeff Hardy, Vince vs. Hornswoggle and Chris Jericho vs. JBL. And it starts?.meow!

-Awww?they cut off the dog show announcers before they could tell me that WWE RAW was next on USA!

-WWE Open.

-Cold open, taped from Austin, Texas, and Hornswoggle?s music hit.

(1) Hornswoggle vs. Vince McMahon- No DQ

A lock-up(!) and Hornswoggle was pushed down. Same thing again. Vince encouraged Horny to hit him but he couldn?t. After much consternation, he finally slapped Vince. This led to Vince taking off his belt to whip Horny. Before he could, Finlay came out and Vince bailed. He got a mic and yelled at Fit for sticking his nose into family business. Vince said Finlay was about to throw his career away for Honrswoggle. Mr. McMahon told Finlay to get out of his ring. Before he could say ?you?re fired,? Fit backed away. As Finlay turned his back to leave, Vince told Horny that Finlay wasn?t a friend, but a coward. Vince pushed Hornswoggle to the mat and Finlay nailed him with a shillaleigh shot (after a wink). Tadpole splash and it?s over.

Winner: Hornswoggle at 5:40.

[break]

-Vince was getting iced backstage when William Regal came upon the scene. He asked if there was anything he could do for Vince; Vince told him to get some dismissal papers, because he?s firing Finlay tonight.

(2) JBL vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho?s chest looked quite raw (no pun intended) tonight. Two extended lock-ups and JBL got a thumb to the eye, or a headbutt, depending on which announcer you trust more. Y2J took JBL to the outside for some brawlin?. Back in the ring, Jericho went for the Walls. Damn! Andy the preacher tripped up as he climbed the eliminator and lost. That?s your American Gladiators update for ya. JBL landed hard on his shoulder as he was dropkicked to the outside. Spinning heel kick by Jericho. He went for the springboard dropkick, but JBL got the boot up.

[break]

Short-arm clothesline, and another from Layfield. Sleeper by JBL. That ended up flooring our Paragon of Virtue. JBL propped Jericho up on the top turnbuckle and JBL tattooed him with rights. I thought a superplex was when the person doing it was on the top rope? Now they?re calling it a superplex even when the suplexer is standing on the middle rope. Jericho blocked said suplex and came down on the back of Bradshaw with a flying forearm. Jericho quickened the pace and hit a middle-rope dropkick. JBL caught a cross-body and a fall-away slam was reversed into a DDT by Jericho. JBL got his boot up on a charge. He missed a clothesline and Jericho hit the CodeBreaker for three.

Winner: Jericho at 13:52.

-Umaga came out and attacked Jericho?.and then JBL. So much for the investment.

[break]

-Still to come, John Cena vs. Mark Henry, ?the world?s most strongest man,? according to JR.

-Mike Adamle previewed Cena vs. Orton at No Way Out. He?s getting better. A video package aired on the subject. Not of Adamle getting better, but of the match.

-Regal knocked on Mr. McMahon?s door backstage and handed him the papers. Regal offered to do Vince?s dirty work for him. Vince said firing Finlay would be too good for him. Instead, he?s fighting Hornswoggle next week?.in a steel cage match.

[break]

-?WWE reminds you: There are no short-cuts to your goals.? Ironic?.on so many levels.

-HBK vs. Hardy is tonight. They should?ve been plugging this match and the Cena one from the start.

(3) Paul Burchill vs. Brian Kendrick

Paul was accompanied by his sister, Katie Lea Burchill. Lea did some mic work. ?Whatever Katie wants, Katie always gets,? Paul said. Kendrick did not looking happy coming to the ring. Some work on the arm started things from Kendrick. Great exchange by JR and King:

JR: ?Burchill comes to Raw with much fanfare, 247 out of London.?

King: ?And his sister?s hot too.?

JR: (dryly) ??.that?s Hall-of-Famer Jerry Lawler.?

Kendrick hit a running forearm in the corner but missed a cross-body. A surfboard stomp by Burchill and then a Roll-of-the-Dice for three.

Winner: Burchill at 3:55. This gimmick disappoints me two-fold: One, because it?s icky. And two, because I liked his pirate gimmick on Smackdown, and how it came about.

-Cena is backstage, heading to the ring for his match, which is next.

[break]

-Randy Orton came out and made it a three-way with JR and King. Announcing, of course. Sickos.

(4) Mark Henry vs. John Cena

Powerslam by Henry. No word on how the World?s Strongest Man came to fight on Raw the last few weeks. Chocke on Cena in the corner. Hard whip into the corner and Cena?s down. Henry took the top turnbuckle pad off and Cena fought back. Henry locked in a full-nelson. Henry ran into the exposed turnbuckle on a corner charge that missed. Cena met him with a shoulderblock off the second rope and the STFU ended it.

Winner: Cena at 2:41.

-Cena got the mic post-match and addressed Randy Orton. Cena said he was 100%. He?s stronger, and more focused than ever. He said Sunday, there?s no way out for Orton.

[break]

-Mr. Kennedy came out to get Flair?s answer on whether he?s going to forfeit their No Way Out match. I?d forgotten all about this. Naitch came out and talked about the way things used to be- how he paved the way for guys like Kennedy. Flair said he ain?t forfeiting because he?s a 16-time World Champ- and he knows Kennedy respects that because that?s what Kennedy wants to be ONCE. Oh, snap! Flair said he?d live to fight another day. They stood toe-to-toe. KK feigned backing off, but dropkicked Flair right in his injured leg.

[break]

-Next week, it?s Hornswoggle vs. Mr. McMahon in a steel cage.

(5) Melina vs. Maria

Santino was on commentary, and Jillian came out with Melina. Melina opened with some offense, and locked in an octopus-like submission. Maria came back with a few clotheslines and a gut-buster. Running bulldog, but Jillian distracted Maria with screaming (or ?singing?) before the cover. That wasn?t working, so she grabbed Santino and made out with him. That did the trick, as Melina rolled Maria up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Melina at 3:32.

-Santino apologized after the match and said that?s what happens when you associate yourself with Playboy. He said the Playboy curse has struck Ashley, Torrie and Candice and Maria will be next. He made an ultimatum: Playboy or Santino. Maria has one week to decide. They locked lips for some tongue massaging before Santino left.

[break]

-They showed a preview of the Gillette Young Guns commercial with John Cena teaching some Nascar drivers how to wrestle. It will debut during the Daytona 500 this Sunday. Among the drivers: Denny Hamlin, Ryan Newman, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards, and Kasey Kahne.

-JR and King previewed the No Way Out card. I really like the Seether song they?re using as the theme; it?s different than a lot of the basic rock themes they use.

-A short video package on Triple H aired.

[break]

-Candice Michelle returns?.sometime.

(6) Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Hardy

Hard chop by HBK and each man tried to end it early. Shawn was clotheslined over the top. He moved to avoid Jeff flying through the air, but Hardy landed on his feet. They traded slaps on the outside. Hardy walked into a sleeper, which he countered into a back suplex. HBK did the Flair corner sell. Hardy tried to back suplex him off the top, but HBK turned it into a cross-body in mid-air. Hardy skinned the cat to come back in, but was met with a stiff clothesline. A unique inverted atomic drop by Hardy. Jeff ran the rails on the outside, but was plucked out of the air by HBK and power-slammed.

[break]

HBK was content to work the lower back, whipping Hardy from pillar to post. Bow-and-arrow by Michaels, followed up by a swinging neck-breaker. Half-Boston crab on Hardy. He struggled to get to the ropes, but finally did. Enziguiri by Hardy and both men were down. Michaels found himself again crotched on the top rope. He pushed Hardy off and missed an elbowdrop. Whisper in the Wind from Jeff for two. Flying forearm by HBK, followed by his usual set-up to the superkick. It missed, but so did the Twist of Fate, so HBK put Hardy in his leg-lock. Hardy found the ropes again, hit the Twist of Fate and the Swan-ton and picked up the win.

Winner: Hardy at 19:51. Great match. Finish was a bit ?eh,? but really, a great match.

Rey Mysterio's quest to regain the World Championship may have suffered a severe setback in Santiago, Chile, on Wednesday

night.

The injury occurred during Wednesday's live event at Arena Santiago, where Mysterio teamed with Kane against Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins. During the tag contest, Rey suffered an apparent injury to his right arm ? specifically his bicep. Clearly in pain, the Master of the 619 gutted it out and finished the match, then was quickly examined by WWE athletic trainer Jason Crivello upon leaving the ring.

Mysterio flew back to the United States late Wednesday night, and is currently in Gulf Breeze, Fla., waiting to meet with world-renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who will determine the extent of the injury. Regardless of Dr. Andrews' findings, Mysterio has his heart set on competing this Sunday night at No Way Out, where he is scheduled to face Edge for the World Championship.
