Tigers Opener

Featured Replies

If anyone is interested in watching Miguel Cabrera, the Tigers game is about to start. For those that have Comcast, that would be Ch 780 (MLB Extra Innings package - free the first week).

You're not gonna believe this....1st inning, first chance for Cabrera, and he makes a low throw to first for his first error.

The throw was fine. Guillen "caught" it like a guy who has never played 1B. He was blocking the 1B line.

We're getting dissed by the Tigers announcers. They're saying Miguel never played in front of a crowd like today's.

Can't blame the announcers. Keep in mind they're not talking about us. I'm assuming if you're here, then you show up to games.

Miguel flies out to center field.

I think the Tigers announcers are getting a little too cocky. Never played in front of crowds as big as that huh? I guess they don't recall when he roped a home run to right field off of Roger Clemens in the WORLD SERIES in front of a packed football stadium....you know, kinda like the 2006 WORLD SERIES in which the Tigers got embarrassed by a mediocre Cardinal team.

I imagine he was an implying an opening day crowd (or regular season crowd for that matter) at home -- when, of course the Shmanks or the Red Sox weren't in town.
