llahsram
I believe two weeks ago the espn.com power rankings had a statement about Hendrickson stating something to the effect of "He won't be in the rotation come May. He's won three straight.

Hotcorner
this reinforces the point many of us were making before the season... which is that this offense - even without Cabrera - should score plenty of runs. All we need is the pitching to be ANY better than last year, and we'll have a better record. And last year's pitching was dreadful. We're seeing better pitching already, bolstered by a really strong pen. Heck if Hendrickson can get us 5 1/3, 2 earned each night I'd take that and run. Hell, any team would take a pitcher who can go five and put up a 2ERA.
SongInTheAir
Hendrix has been doing much better than advertised.
catchoftheday
it's not even the end of april. sorry if i'm being pesimistic and trust me I am glad that Hendrikson has been pretty good lately but it's still too early in the season to say anything. I do agree with HC on the fact that this team can score plenty of runs when given the chance.
Admin
It isn't a terrible assumption to make to say he is pitching above his capabilities for the time being. I'm starting to be optimistic about Olsen again, but Miller still needs a lot of work.
Tee Ball Bunt Machine
Consider that in Hendrickson's last 3 starts (this means the season excluding the Mets game) he has given up a total of 4 ERs. An ERA of about 2.04 in that span I believe. And honestly, with #s like that and 5-7 IP each time around, I think he'll be putting the team in a good position to win most of the time, and he'll probably be rewarded with a good # of wins this season. Hammerhead
If my math is correct, the offense has provided him with 1.6 runs per inning in his last 3 starts. If he keeps getting that kind of support and keeps making it to at least the 5th, he'll be a 12+ game winner this year. Book it, baby. Book it.
