Badenhop has actually shown a very good sinker, and some good offspeed pitches. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the surprise this year, in the rotation. I like to see the Marlins win, but you have to dedicate developing some of these other guys as well, and it will probably cost ballgames this year, but help win ballgames in the following years. Wild Card Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Badenhop should have a bright future in this league as a #5 starter type. Like said above, he's not going to miss a lot of bats and he isn't going to K too many, but his stuff is pretty darn solid and he has the control to be a consistent contributor to a big league rotation.
