costabear
Dolphins stadium, I think, stopped being a pitchers park once they started working on the improvements around the stadium.

That or maybe the pitching just isn't as good as it was before?
Schnellders
do u think we play better on the road because the players actually feel like they are playing baseball with a proper crowd and atmosphere?
Tee Ball Bunt Machine
do u think we play better on the road because the players actually feel like they are playing baseball with a proper crowd and atmosphere? No. Just another observation...unless I'm mistaken, we've won a grand total of one game against the Dodgers since the start of 2006. Seriously, the extent to which they have our number is ridiculous. It's like all the 2006 rookies just lose it when they see that Dodger blue.

EricWiener
do u think we play better on the road because the players actually feel like they are playing baseball with a proper crowd and atmosphere? Home record: 7-8 Road record: 8-5 Considering that we just got swept, and that represents 20% of our home schedule, I think it may be a bit premature to make any such judgment. We could have easily taken 2 of those games, and the records would be a virtual tie.

See, the problem with those numbers is that the 4 blowouts we've been given skew the numbers, we have up 13 to both both LAD and NYM, gave up 9 to PIT, and 8 to ATL. The 33 run differance between home and away are from Andrew Miller 14 runs 3GS 12.1 IP, Mark Henrickson 12 runs 3GS 12.2 IP and Rick VandenHurk 7 runs 2 GS 7.1 IP.
