May 12, 200818 yr Too bad the Rays are good this year and it won't be some easy wins as usual against them.

I'll be sure to take flags and stuff this season. Last season we paid about 15 bucks for bullpen seats per ticket with a hot dog, soda, and chips included, and parking was free. Wish we could have a deal like that down here!
May 12, 200818 yr Does anyone else think Olsen may be being a bit overworked, especially after the shoulder problem he had this spring? Before Sunday, he had thrown 324 pitches in his last three starts. Just don't want those problems to resurface.

Throw today into the Average over his last 4 games and it comes out to 95 pitches per start.

I think it's time that we start using Justin Miller and Taylor Tankersley a little more. Pinto is already up to 20 games this year (that's more than half the games played, which is 37)...not to mention, he's not just getting lefties out on 1 pitch, etc. In the 20 games, he's logged 25.1 innings, already.

Proving my point even further. With the way the pen has been pitching, there's no reason to stretch Olsen out in every outing.

We always go over for the Sunday game. Won't be any different this year as far as I can tell.

When I checked the box score that (59 pitches) had me worried. My SP paranoia kicked in. I've had that ever since Girardi used our youngsters to pad his resume. But, according to Monday's PBP, he says his velocity was down (never topped 87) and he thought it was because of his last start being the longest of his career. Dosen't feel any discomfort and will make his next start Friday vs the Royals. BTW I hope they bring those powder blue jerseys along. I really like them. Not for our team, but they do look nice on other teams.
