And for the record, you wont hear me bad-mouthing anyone who contributed to our glorious season.

So we can still bad-mouth Nunez and Almanza? :lol

You can do anything you want, but speaking for myself, even Almanza and Nunez will not hear my wrath. Show a little respect.

Beinfest et al know how to assess talent, I'm sure neither guy will be with the team in 2004 with or without us bad-mouthing them.

But its an individual decision, if it makes you, or anyone else, feel good to be ranking on guys who contributed, no matter how minimally, to our season of success, I'm not here to defend them. It's a personal choice and the choice I've made is to not say one bad word about any of them.

Can you say, VLADDY!?

Wild Card,

are you trying to Jinx that too? :p :D :p The title is gone.

The season is over.

Who will be the jinx of 2004!? :shifty

I think that we are going to see a good number of big name free agents going to smaller market teams, with maybe not as much money going to them as they could have gotten if they went to big market teams and/or the big market teams were interested. Why?

Call it the Pudge factor.

Who will be the jinx of 2004!? :shifty I get an odd feeling he will strikingly resemble the jinx of 2003. :D

No, it can't be the same person/thing two times in a row.

This, according to the baseball gods.

This, according to the baseball gods. Hmmm...well a jinx therefore will emerge.

The marlins minor-league free agents,

Pitchers: Benito Baez, Marty Barnett, Sean Bergman, Doug Bochtler, Donnie Bridges, Ramon Castillo, Jose Cueto, Manuel Esquivia, Sean Fesh, Mike Fyrhie, Geoff Goetz, Craig House, Mike Judd, Allen Levrault, Scott Sanders, Hawkeye Wayne.

Catchers: Brandon Harper, Paul Hoover, Matt Treanor.

Infielders: Chris Donnels, Matt Erickson, Kevin Polcovich, Jose Santos, Jason Wood.

Outfielders: Chris Ashby, Anthony Iapoce, Rob Stratton.

I hope we resign Donnie Bridges(former 1# Expos prospect) and Geoff Goetz(part of the Piazza deal), Also with Jose Cueto being a free agent there goes part of that Clement/AA trade. Stratton a freak just can't stay focus enough at the plate to stay in the line-up or for that be consider for a call-up. Santos part of that Todd Zelie trade started to turn the corner in Jupiter but its time to move on. Craig"wildthing" House with that 100mph fastball BUT no control show little improvement. Vets like Sean Bergman, Doug Bochtler, Mike Judd, Allen Levrault, Scott Sanders, and Sean Fesh could be brought back but highly unlikely.

a dollar

Most of these guys are going to rersign with their respective teams without a problem. Where's a Stratton going to go? If someone else wants to try to straighten out Craidg House I wish them luck.

Craig"wildthing" House with that 100mph fastball BUT no control show little improvement.

You just don't vut a guy that throws 100 MPH.

And when you throw that hard, you don't need pinpoint control, because guys will have so little time to think, they'll swing at something out of the zone.

when Hoffa and the union stepped in

when Hoffa and the union stepped in

America works best when it says Union Yes....

a dollar

When did they get a raise? :lol nice

When did they get a raise? :lol nice Thanks but you still didn't didn't answer my question...although i guess marlins02 did so it's all good. :thumbup

there's ton of free agents out there who are going to file. I expect Beinfest to act quickly, and by the end of the November 10 GM's meeting I think we'll have a pretty good idea what we're looking at in 2004.

And BTW, not to rain on anyone's parade, but have you looked at our 2004 schedule? If I remember correctly we finish with a ten game road trip. Ugh !

im telling you, Hoffa and the union (his thugs) busted some heads and demanded $.50 raises
