Probably not any, because we're facing a soft tosser, and we all know how the Marlins do against soft tossers. And a knuckleballer, at that.

 

However, Dickey is a recently converted knuckler, so if he isn't getting the knuckle ball to knuckle, then it will be batting practice. We'll see.

First off, Dickey has only pitched 28 innings this season and this will be his 3rd start. So I'm not ready to say that he doesn't give up many homers.

He's only gone 9 innings once, and that was in 2003. He hasn't pitched 7 innings since 2005. Since that outing, he has never pitched more than 6 innings.

 

As a starter, his WHIP is 2.608 and his ERA is 14.09.
