Well, the same is just as true, of not truer, of Ricky Nolasco but you never hear all this screaming.

Yet, Nolasco settled down and gave a quality start. Hopefully, Olsen can do the same.

 

The difference is that Nolasco has only had one truly bad outing and has shown MANY times he battles back and keeps the team in the game. Olsen out there looked like the same Olsen in his last two really bad starts, where he did NOT keep the team in the game.

 

 

He gave up 1 run (fortunately, a nice defensive play from Helms).

You can't take him out that early.

Hopefully, he settles down.

Can't already begin using a pen that's already been overused all year.

Olsen has been good this year... but i think there is no question Nolasco has better "stuff".
