July 30, 200818 yr I know i did this like last week but would anyone be kind enough to tell me the marlins record today in 97 03 and 06? it will calm me down about the loss lol thanks
July 30, 200818 yr 1997: 59-45 (2nd) 2003: 58-49 (3rd) WTF!? 2006: 48-54 (2nd) 2008: 56-51 (3rd) What was so special about 2006? They were a surprise, but it's not as if we made the playoffs that year, to put them with '97 and '03.
July 30, 200818 yr K look all we have to do is get Ofense going and if we go on a 7 Game streak the Muts will obviously choke(not on there on dicks) and were 3 or 4 games ahead or 1 or 2 ahead of the wild card
July 30, 200818 yr Why does it matter? We're only 2 GB, THAT should calm you down about the loss. :notworthy
July 30, 200818 yr I wouldn't get too angry about today lost. The Mets are a tough team to sweep. Lets concentrate on getting a win tomorrow to take the series.
July 30, 200818 yr This team is playing alright, and still seems to stick around. I'm quite sure that we haven't seen the best of this team. Let them go on a run and string a few wins together and watch them completely take over the East.
July 30, 200818 yr Our weakness at the beginning of the season was the starting pitching. As the bullpen was overused, this became a problem also. The offense has always been there. With the addition of JJ, Volstad and Sanchez our rotation has and will continue to improve and our bullpen has bounced back by being used less frequently. It is hard to win a game scoring only one run, but our bats will be back. The important thing is that our pitching is holding up better now, as we make a run toward the post-season.
July 30, 200818 yr well if we loose the rubber match today we would have NOT won a series for the third straight series. That is not so good.
