Hoover to AAA and i really hope the playing time still goes to john baker. the starting pitching is the best its been and he is a much better hitter than treanor

Fredi has a habit of going against what we may feel is right.

I doubt that Treanor will send Baker to the bench completely, I would expect that Fredi give Baker a lot of starts as long as things keep working (good pitching performances, reasonable offense) and it will give Matt some time to rest up. I doubt a healthy Treanor is the difference between us and the playoffs, but we do want him healthy for the playoffs (if we were to get there).

I want to see BAKER up there as our starting catcher!!!! Don't fail me FREDI!

I rember hearing some one i think tommy sayin that fredi would probably stll give most of the time to baker because he doesnt want matt to get hurt by playin so much so soon.

I see more of a platoon situation with Treanor healthy, I was surprised to see Baker in there against lefties so Freddi must have faith in Baker.

Did anyone know Baker had such a good pitch recognition, drawing a couple of walks yesterday, and he really works the count. Also, maybe it is not as much faith in Baker but a total lack of faith in Hoover, who couldn't hit anyone.

how about...i know this is crazy....a LEFTY/RIGHT platoon! Yes, I know, absolute crazy talk here...but I think this team needs to think outside the box! In all seriousness, this is such an obvious move that I know for some reason we WON'T do it.

Whatever catcher each pitcher is most comfortable with should get those starts
