Nothing to back myself up, just a gut feeling.

While not being as good as he was this year, Mike Lowell was still among one of the better-hitting 3B in baseball the past 3 years. You can't say that about Guillen and RFs.

October 31, 200322 yr I think Guillen is going to be a .280+ 20-25 HR guy for the next few years. He had a hole in his swing, he fixed it. I mean this guy WAS a huge prospect and he was solid for the Pirates when he first came up. I think it just took him a little longer to put it all together. That being said, he does have a reputation for being a problem in the clubhouse. Fair or unfair, I don't know.

October 31, 200322 yr Author I heard or read somewhere that he is a bit problematic. . . My point exactly. That's the reason he may come cheap. But this is a very latin team, and it seems tome that just about any person can mesh here.

November 1, 200322 yr guillen will probly get like 11 mill I highly doubt that...probably no more than 3yrs at 7-8 mill per. This is if he's lucky.
November 1, 200322 yr That's a good question. He's never made a million in a season yet, and had a good contract drive year. He should be affordable.
