All that matters is that he's there with some of the best in the U.S. doing his thing.

Seemed like every guy he faced was a lefty. Looks like he needs more confidence in throwing things other than his heat. Whe he did, he did fine. Just kept relying a little too much on the fast ball, IMO.

A good thing about the spring is that he has time to figure it out before the regular season. Hopefully he can get some good advice from some of the other players and then use it to help him get batters out. It seems from last year that lefties seem to have their way with him. I hope he can make an adjustment, and quickly. It will be interesting to see. He also needs to be able and go get a strikeout when he needs it too.

Man if he could learn a change up i think that really help him vs lefties but as far as I know he throws a splitter, fastball, and slider. But yeah if he goes out there and gets a save vs say the dominican against the likes of hanley,Arod, and reyes his confidence sould go through the roof.

I remember when he struck Todd Helton out on that pitch-it was inside at the knees and it moved a ton. Also, in his rookie season he struck out Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran on that split-change that he threw right down the middle of the plate. Because of the movement those two hitters swung through the pitches. Like Heath Bell this year, I'd like to see Lindstrom develop a dirty change that he can throw in any count. He has it, he just doesn't throw it often enough to have confidence in it.

And if he could throw something around 90 that looks like it is going to be his heat then all the better. One of the best pitches in anyone's arsenal, IMO. Some closers can get away with just throwing the fastball, he can't. Mainly because the other team will throw up lefties against him with the game on the line.
