Matt Lindstrom Closer Video

Featured Replies

I know he blew a save andm ight not be best time..but i know Rab had a Kevin Gregg save vid so i thought this might be useful and enjoyable to Marlin fans!!

Enjoy :thumbup

For the record, Rab also has a Lindstrom closer vid. That said, those guys who making the vids at DS are crazy good, much better than me. Their Gregg vid was better than their Lindstrom vid.

Thanks for that video. The last 2 opportunities have hardly looked like that. I hope he gets it going soon because our bullpen doesn't look too good to start the season. Important thing is that they are still winning-the baseball gods are watching out early!

Ah The reason Lindstrom is struggling is obviously because i have yet to watch this video in it entirety as i did last season.

Now i will be more heads upp and watch the whole thing so we can continue our PERFECTION

Yeah, his velocity is worrying me as well. He's not looking like himself. His slider doesn't have the same cutting action that it did a month ago in the WBC. I think he's rushing himself back.

He better get it going soon, or we'll be seeing Leo Nunez videos.

Nunez will get opportunities too. Lindstrom isn't available tomorrow, so it'll be interesting to see how the pen is used. Our pen is bad enough with Lindstrom in it...we kinda need him in there, pitching like he's capable of. He's never going to be lights out, but he's better than this. What happened to his velocity? Over half the fastballs he threw didn't even touch the red (96 and over) on the radar gun tonight, it seemed. I hope that's just b/c he's trying to throw strikes, and not b/c of arm troubles.

Yea Lindy doesn't seem like his old self he seemed like someone I know (Gregg) but the thing is Lindy got hurt in WBC, I heard of the injury but am not certain what happen. They should give him some time to rest and not rush him, too fast....I think Leo can survive a few games as a closer, and Calero stated today he will play when he is told.

Matt Lindstrom has a beast video.

But most importantly, Lindstrom wasn't hitting his usual 97-100 speed on his fastball, today they were all 92-95 range. He may be a little rusty still, but its very important he gets velocity back on that fastball

I'm kinda hoping his velocity was also down because he was throwing 2 seamers but only a few ofhis balls moved. He looked great in Canada in the WBC.

He threw like one 2 seamer. The 0-2 pitch that just missed low to Ramon Castro was the only one I can recall.

He's very flat and predictable right now. Not to mention he's having trouble throwing strikes.

If he's not right...they need to put him on the DL.

Btw, people forget that 2 or 3 of Gregg's blown saves last year came b/c he was supposedly pitching injured. How you'd be willing to give Lindstrom a free pass for that & not Gregg shows the hatrid some have for Gregg on this board.

Yeah his pitches were very flat and predictable. He just continued to throw fastball after fastball. he could have been throwing 98+ but these players are gonna catch up to it eventually and time it. If he would have had the splitter going..wow different ball game. I really would have liked to see some splitters against Jeremy Reed.

This guy has so much explosive stuff, and if they need to do another evaluation and check to see if he is 100% then by all means do it. Go on the DL if needed, this is a long season and we need this guy.

I am happy for the fact that the Reed single didn't kill the focus of Lindstrom and he was able to bounce back and get Cora out.

Yeah i didnt think he threw many.

As for Gregg i only really started to dislaike him when he thought he should get to close again after he blew 9 saves and lindsrrom was doing fine last year.
