hey, they play crosby stills & nash on the radio all the time. they play garth, too.

i havnet listened to garth in ages. And I'm not a crosby stills and nash fan. As for garth though. When was his last single? It was off his Scarecrow album, which came out in 2000. They really don't play Garth every 5 songs. Whats fun is to be listening to "Hot 98.1" (arent they all HOT or JAMZ?) in the weightroom (because, face it, listening to country while lifting isn't the best idea), and hearing Lil Jon, Ludacris, Beyonce, 60 cent, and Sean Paul about 4 times each within a 50 minute period.

 

I guarantee I can turn it to 102.7 or 92.3 at home and can go 3 or 4 hours without hearing Garth.

 

And I really don't like Toby Keith's new stuff, or any of the new country (I cna stand Keith and Gary Allan). You won't hear some good old George Strait 4 times an hour. You won't hear John Anderson 4 times an hour. You won't hear Mountain Music, Tennessee River, Song of the South, etc. by Alabama 4 times an hour.

 

My point? 50 cent my be good....if his sh*t wasn't overplayed and catered to the teenieboppers of MTV.

Excuse you? First off, rap has been the fastest growing music in I don't know, the past 20 years or so? And why don't you compare record sales, see who really is more popular.

 

Furthermore, when was the last time a country song topped the billboards? Because a rap one topped it just last week.
