Posted May 9, 200916 yr Winning I like it, I LOVE IT Pretty solid game from Nolasco and Great nights for Chris Coghlan and Hanley!
May 9, 200916 yr Coghlan must keep starting till we lose. Hanley is ripping the ball and lindstrom looked sharp. Ricky also looked better. Keep it going.
May 9, 200916 yr Hanley was hot like fie-ya, but I gave it to Chris just because it was his first MLB start!
May 9, 200916 yr I called 790 today and talked to Josh Friedman and mentioned that the Marlins should try batting Coghlan first cuz of his ridiculous OBP. Well he batted 2nd today and we won. I guess I was sort of right? Great game by Nolasco too. Thought he was gonna blow up but didnt. Hanley is carrying the team now that Cantu is cooling off.
May 9, 200916 yr uggla will be traded before the all-star break I hope he catches fire so we can get a great trade for him. I will miss Uggla though
May 9, 200916 yr Author uggla will be traded before the all-star break If Coghlan keeps it up for more than a week, i give it a month and bats over .300 with a +.350 OBP and some Stolen Bases then you can maybe consider trading Uggla for a "solid" 3, 4 or 5 pitcher and a prospect.
May 9, 200916 yr Author Oh yea...Lindstrom looked unbelievable He's looked a whole lot better in the past 3 games. Control with the fastball and the sharp slider putting batters away, He just needs to keep it up and also locate his fastball inside more often.

May 9, 200916 yr hanley's a beast but i chose coghlan because he had 2 hits in his debut. hopefully he's a stable in the 2-hole for a while

We need players who can put up solid numbers and play in a way that helps the team as much as possible.
May 9, 200916 yr uggla will be traded before the all-star break Doubt it, heavily. If Coghlan can keep it up, then I think Uggla will be traded. Probably to San Fran for Matt Cain or someone of that caliber. They will definitely trade him for a pitcher. I just don't see the Marlins dishing out upwards of $6 million for Uggla next year. Only if he hits .280 with 30+ HR and 100+ RBI's.
May 9, 200916 yr does anyone think that if coghlan as a couple more good games that uggla move over to 3rd and boni gets benched?

May 9, 200916 yr does anyone think that if coghlan as a couple more good games that uggla move over to 3rd and boni gets benched? Coghlan would be the one to move to 3B, since that's his natural position.

And I can bet you Coghlan's defense is better than Uggla's. They only problem is that we would be letting go of another power guy.

It all depends on how Dominguez develops.
