Interesting: Tomorrow there's a possibility of Big Red and Red combo (P, Mark Redman; C, Mike Redmond)

A Red&Red combo could be interesting.

MARLINS WIN!!!

Interesting Fact: No walks for Marlins' pitchers in tonight's game.. :mischief2

We are .500! :w00t

After tonight's game, 7 of the 8 regular starters are hitting over .285, 5 over .300. And the only who isnt, is Lee, whos hitting .256 with 3 home runs and 12 RBI. Thats an amazing stat. Our lineup is really starting to get it done from top to bottom.

Anybody still worried about Juan Pierre hitting away from Coors? How does a 12-game hitting streak with very key hits along the way sound, his first 12 games with a new team? How about the fact that he has more stolen bases than 21 other teams?

What an amazing game!

Went to the game tonight, one thing that impressed me was the lack of strikeouts by the Marlin hitters - other than a couple of called third strikes on Lee & Lowell - I can't recall many others.

The Marlins always seem to put the ball in play. Many of their outs were "hard" outs as well - line drives to center field and short. Sure is nice not having Preston & CJ striking out and killing those rallies.

Gonzalez looks like a new player out there - really hope he keeps it up.

Go Fish. Beat Maddux.

:hat

In their first 10 games this year, the Marlins struck out 46 times. In their first 10 games last year, they struck out 81 times. Thats 43% less strikeouts.

Another nice stat is that through 8 home games, attendance is up 5,153 per game over last year.

Just got back from the Stadium and all that good stuff. Luis says hi.

Anyway, I text messaged Admin about this earlier...and boy was it a great game....loved it.....

be there later on today...

SWEEP BABY!

Back to .500!!!!!

The last few games only exemplifies what i see in this ballclub...Good pitching, aggressive baserunning, and guys who can hit the ball...The first week of this season was soooo painful because I knew it wasn't what they are capable of...

Let's beat Maddux and climb over .500 and show the league the Marlins are for real!!!!!!...

also...Pudge is worth every penny (sounds like a Brad joke can be inserted here)...his presence in the line-up is a major spark...You can see this team is starting to get on the same page now and they look like they believe they can win games...Gonzalez looks like he can be a good hitter if he waits on pitches and just makes contact instead of trying to jack everything...Maybe someone is finally getting thru to the ol' Sea Bass...Interesting that lately I am seeing an increase in people wearing Marlins hats here in Pennsylvania (although I am seeing a huge number of Phillies jerseys and hats too alla sudden - The bandwagon fans are emerging from hibernation)

*sits in the outfield bleachers with my tshirt with a big 'X' on it and my hat inside out*

they still suck. s***ty I tell you.

this is nice, but when this team is competitive and playing like this in august I will be impressed.

call me a sourpuss, i call it like I see it.

still I like it.

and oh yeah even though I said the Marlins are still s***ty they

just not as s***ty as the braves right now.

Let's get out the brooms and sweep Bobby and the rest of his Coxsuckers back to Atlanta where they belong.

classic!
