June 28, 200917 yr Getting Rasheed Wallace would be huge for Orlando. Yep Yep. Same for Boston if they get him. cant really see sheed in a celtic jersey. I can. Celtics are a legit contender, and he wants to go to a contender.
June 28, 200917 yr I can. Celtics are a legit contender, and he wants to go to a contender. Exactly, he has the chance to go to any team in the east like Boston, Cleavland or Orlando but don't forget about the Western Conference. If Phoenix loses Amare there might be a Rasheed/Ben Wallace Reunion or he could go to LA if they do not resign Odom, San Antonio, New Orleans, Utah or even Houston with the injury's to Yao.
June 30, 200917 yr http://www.orlandose...0,3159313.story The Orlando Magic will make another long-shot run at re-signing small forward Hedo Turkoglu while patiently waiting to bargain-shop after the green flag drops on free agency. Wow.
June 30, 200917 yr the pistons fired head coach curry. i saw this coming because you could tell that the players didn't respect him. they need a veteran coach like avery johnson.

Wow. i think he'll end up in toronto. colangelo loves foreign players and he needs to convince chris bosh to stay in toronto. PG - Calderon SG - Parker/DeRozan SF - Hedo PF - Bosh C - Bargnani that's a pretty good lineup in the east.
June 30, 200917 yr boozer opted to stay with the jazz. although i think he'll leave next offseason. the only reason he decided to opt and stay one more year was because there were only a hand full of teams with enough cap to sign him giving them an advantage over him. so he'd rather play one more year at 12.7 and raise his stock than be forced to sign a long term deal with a paycut. next season after the big names like bosh, lebron, and wade are off the board teams will get into bidding wars over boozer.

The list keeps on getting longer. That means Boozer, Joe Johnson, Pierce, Allen, LeBron, Shaq, Josh Howard, Dirk, Kenyon Martin, McGrady, Yao (if he's able to come back), Camby, Wade, Redd, Chandler, Nash, Amare, Ginobli, Richard Jefferson, Bosh, and Haywood are all unrestricted free agents come 2010. I think it may actually be a bad idea to wait because of all of the money being spent on all the rest of the free agents. He would have been the top free agent if he were to opt out this year and there are still some teams that have the cap room to sign him.

I think all the large-market teams will go after LeBron, Wade, Amare, Bosh, etc. first, and then might not have room for players like Boozers and other players like him. He might still get the money he wants, but he probably won't be able to play for an elite team which he probably prefers.

July 1, 200917 yr Wouldnt it be a sick team. Re-sign Wade and sign Bosh to max contracts and than try and sign someone like K-Mart, to go along with Beasly and Chalmers.
July 1, 200917 yr i just read the funniest article. it says that lamar odom wants a 4 year deal worth 40 million. is odom serious, 4 years and 25 million is reasonable but for a guy that has one good game per week 40 million is just ridiculous.
July 2, 200917 yr Pistons signed Gordon and Villanueva. Ben Gordon? Damn that's 2 pretty good pickups.
July 2, 200917 yr I'm hoping Riley signs Zaza Pachulia for the MLE. He's a quality backup. That would be great.
July 2, 200917 yr Pistons signed Gordon and Villanueva. WHY? this is dump move by the pistons. they already signed hamilton to an extension. now they probably won't have any money to sign a real big man during next offseason. oh and the grizzlies acquired zach randolph from the clippers for quentin richardson. i saw this coming since they need room for griffin. but i don't get this move from the griz standpoint. gasol was a reliable big man last season and they drafted thabeet who needs playing time to develop. so who sits with the arrival of randolph?
July 2, 200917 yr The worst part of it all are the contracts... Jesus who the hell would give Ben Gordon 5 years $55 million????? Same goes with Villanueva and his $7 million a year contract, he should be getting the MLE. Pistons have turned into a terrible franchise.

Wow i thought they'd signed good contracts but 55 Mil for someone that might not even start? And they should have signed Villanueva for the MLE to save at least 3 Mil. Well this is good new for the Heat since we'll be able to out rebound a team this season.
July 2, 200917 yr And according the Ron Artests twitter, he has said, and I quote, "THANKS ALOT HOUSTON. I HAD ALOT OF FUN:)", not 100% its his true account though, but he has been in talks with the Cavs about signing for the MLE of $5.6 million

Another thing Artest wants is a championship ring. Plenty of teams that aren't in contention right now are offering him the $8 million a year, he wants $12 million a year, which nobody is offering. He either takes the $8 million from some non contender or take the discount to try and win a championship
