Does anyone know how long he will be out?

He's day to day with a right ankle sprain.

better than i expected. that's not serious, just don't rush him

Josh Friedman said he might still end up on the DL and that he was going to follow up with Fredi tomorrow.

I would think they give it a day or two to see how the swelling and/or pain is. They can always DL him retroactively.

Seeing they just played 12 innings and used everyone in the pen except Wood there is a good chance they'll make a move to get an arm up, just in case.

I would think DL is the right thing for nunez. Although not severe, the problem with the ankle is that he very well would make unconsious adjustments which many times causes a pitcher to slightly alter the delivery and cause and arm injury. Just be safe here.

Who would be the most likely candidate? Cristhian Martinez yet again? Also, when is Calero due to come off the DL?
