July 17, 200916 yr I hope vandy does well. With the exception of Adrian in the pads lineup they are pretty weak.
July 18, 200916 yr Wow, i called fr Vandy to be up and Sanches to be down a couple weeks ago. nice Why would you call for that a couple weeks ago? All things considered, Sanches has been solid. By default, it has to be him sent down but at least we know we can call on him in the future.

July 18, 200916 yr Author I want to see Maybin/Sanchez up SOON. Couldn't agree more. This lineup is flat and largely unproductive minus Hanley. I mean, what's the worst that could happen if we brought those two up? Jeez if we fall out of contention, it's not like it's a tragedy. The division is a joke this year and it's the Phillies division to lose, which they might. Also, could our lineup even get any worse with the addition of those two? Me thinks not.

We hadn't even acquired Donnelly at that point, so there would have been no reason to send Sanches down.

July 19, 200916 yr Three home runs and four walks in three innings for West?? He needs to stay down there until he can figure it out.
July 19, 200916 yr He is working on his offspeed pitches, I'm sure he was getting naild on does. yeah, something to remember with pitching prospects (and to a lesser extent hitting prospects), minor league stat lines don't tell the entire story.
July 20, 200916 yr Morrison is a walk machine! He walked 3 times today and 15 in the past 10 games with only 7 SO.
July 20, 200916 yr Morrison continues to walk at a ridiculous rate (32/21 BB/K). It's something he did ok with in Jupiter, but he's been a marked improvement in Jax. The average and slugging are bound to go up as he's really starting to look like the complete package.
