Game scheduled today, but wasn't played.

Matt Dominguez has been tearing it up lately. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the majors at the end of next year.

I doubt he'll be up full time until 2011 or 2012 but you probably mean as a September Call Up.

He hasen't necessarily been tearing it up lately since he's still batting .258(.355 since July 3rd) he did have a few good games though especially going 4-4 on the 5th of July.

The 10 HR's an 45 RBI's are a plus but he needs to bring that average up to at least .270 and his OPS is low at .746.

He has a lot of work to do but it's good that he's only 20 years old.

Willie Collazo deserves a shot.

Not really, he's 29 years old.

So his age should determine if he gets a shot? Awesome.

No but the fact that he hasen't been called up in his 8 years in the minors should tell you that he's nothing special.

Anyone have any information on why Tucker made a start in Rookie League? Is he coming off an injury?

Also somebody you might want to start tracking is Marcell Ozuna. He went 2-4 today, raising his season line to .380/.429/.577/1.006. This is on the GCL team. 18 year old we signed out of the DR. He's not going to hit 300 forever but he's got power and doesn't k much

Good to see tucker back but I doubt we see him in a fish uni this year. Skipworth always with at least 2 k's.

I'll put anyone in the DFRs if they are OPSing over 1.000! :cool

Sorry I didn't post this last night...I was pretty sick.

You should keep an eye on Brent Keys in GCL. He started the season on a hitting streak but has cooled off. What I like the most about him is his pitch recognition, and it shows in his BB/K ratio 10BB/7SO in 14 games and that's what you mostly would like to see in the player first pro season. I also believe he can hit for some power but he has yet to show it. He can be compered to Coghlan.

In other news, looks like Rick VandenHurk will slide into Sean West's starter spot. VandenHurk started tonight for Triple-A New Orleans, but he exited after three shutout innings of one-hit ball. That abbreviated outing enables him to start Monday's series opener at San Diego.
