Red Sox Claim Cristian Guzman

Featured Replies

the shortstop position has been a rotating door for the sox the last couple seasons. i think getting guzman would be good for the sox since green has fallen back to earth and lowrie is injury prone. but i don't think that the nats will just give him up, they'll probably want some good prospects in return.

i wouldn't mind this since he's been killing us evey time we play the nationals.

EDIT: this doesn't mean they were the only team that claimed him. there could be several teams in front of the sox that also claimed him

The Nats don't have to trade him. But if the Red Sox offer them something decent, then maybe they'll bite.

Why would the Nats trade there most consistent offense player for the past 3 seasons(besides Zimmerman).

I'd do it if they got back some good pitching prospects or pitchers in return but he wouldn't be cheap.

this would be a great pick up for the sox.

They seem to be making all the moves in the world. Almost has If they were playing 2k9.
