Problems Loading Site

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in, but I have been noticing that the message boards will not always load when browsing in Safari or Firefox. Im not at home at the moment, so i cant test from home, but i believe that with Safari the mesaage states that the site could not be found. I just wanted to see how large of an occurance this is. Are there any recommendations to fix this problem.. Thanks

I have the same problem.

I type in both Marlinsbaseball.com and marlinbaseball.com and It says the website has an error or the server can't find the website.

I've also tried the www.marlinsbaseball.com/forums/index route and the same message popped up.

I normally use firefox, safari or Internet explorer to access the site but since it hasn't been working I have to use the slower AOL.

Exact same as URLs as MrMarlinPride. It really is sporadic referring to when it occurs. I couldn't get on the boards yesterday at all. This also occurs on iPhone as well. I thought I had remembered other users having problems as well

Yes, then the complaints stopped so I figured I finally fixed whatever it was. I guess I was wrong though.

Actually it never stopped for me Admin, I just started using a proxy. And for the record I had the problem when I was in Washington DC this past week but not in Philly. I don't have the problem at FIU either.

It's a server issue, probably with the pipes.

I'm not really complaining about It but I missed talking about the game the other day. Good luck trying to straighten it out.

I used to have more problems with Chrome and Internet Explorer, but I switched to Firefox just to see if it would help. It does better, but now and again... I just can't get it to load.

I also use Firefox, for the record. It wasn't loading about 20 minutes ago.

I haven't been able to access the site using Sfari, Firefox and Internet Explorer for the past week :(

AOL is the only way I can get on now and it doesn't even load the full page.

Not positive if this issue is the one this thread is about, but since yesterday afternoon I get the following error when I go to http://www.marlinsbaseball.com/forums/ (When I click the "click here", I'm able to access the forums fine). Both on windows/firefox and mac/safari:

An Error Occurred

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

Go to http://www.marlinsbaseball.com not http://www.marlinsbaseball.com/forums as the forums are no longer in a sub-directory. That should help your issue.

I also have it sometimes. Occasionally the forum start page loads, but none of the subforums or threads load.

That sounds like a different issue. You're accessing the forums while they're being backed-up. Usually between 1 and 3AM I think.
