Admin
He's concerned about the knee and they will decide tonight if he'll make his start Friday or not. It's expected that if he misses Friday's start, he'll just be shut down for the season.
Admin
I still don't understand why they just can't end his season. They should have done it awhile ago. The Marlins are down to their 4th and 5th string catchers. The season's over.
HitDaCycle
I agree. There's no reason for Ricky to risk anything at this point. Season's drawing to a close anyway
MrMarlinPride
Shut him down, let Miller get the rest of his starts.
Erick
Shut him down, let Miller get the rest of his starts. Agreed. Nolasco's knee injury can lead to arm troubles. Season's over. Let Miller start; he'll lose all his games and we'll get a better draft pick for it next year. Let Nolasco comeback when it actually matters, again. enterthemadness
Yes, season is over. Shut him down. On a related note, does team shut down Uggla if his groin keeps bugging him or let him play to get his 30th homer, then shut down?
Admin
On a related note, does team shut down Uggla if his groin keeps bugging him or let him play to get his 30th homer, then shut down? Uggla took BP and ran around today. He is available to PH and is expected to start Friday so it sounds like the groin injury was minor. Rabbethan
SHUT IT DOWN!
alejandrasnow
I agree. I didn't think he should have made his last start considering the season is almost over for us and Ricky could very well exacerbate the injury. Now that he's experiencing doubt he should just go and get the injury attended to.
FutureGM
I still don't understand why he didn't get shut down before he made his last start. We're risking his long-term health for meaningless games.
97marlin
agreed, shut him down, and let him get healthy for next year, but let miller have the starts? those starts should be given to one of the minor leaguer's with good numbers. Hotcorner
can you imagine if we'd crawled back into contention and then all these players start dropping? this shouldn't even be a question though, you gotta shut him down.
Shaft
Damn it! Better to shut him down at this point anyway
