I bet y'all don't usually do this but I'm trying to get a variety of opinions, so I thought I'd try all the forums I'm on, which this is one. So you opinion would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, here's the story: I want to start my ov TV and FIlm production business one day and even though I'm far off from being able to attempt it, I have been obsession over what the logo should look like, by the way I think I'm gonna name my company Blue Cross Productions, anyway here's the logo I came up with last night using Adobe Fireworks CS5:

Sorry about the size:

Not crazy about the cross. Maybe add a shadow to it or something to make it jump out more. Otherwise its not bad. Maybe ease up on the glow a tad and match the color of the "Blue Cross" with the cross itself.

I mean, take my suggestions for whatever they are worth. If you like what you got, then stick with it. It's your logo

I haven't taken Copyright Law yet, but I'm thinking there's a decent chance that name may violate Blue Cross Blue Shield's rights in some way....

I don't think so, two different industries, no to mention I don't think you can copy right the name of a color and a shape can you? Don't think it meets the threshold of originality I think.

Really? The World Wildlife Fund sued the World Wrestling Federation because they both used WWF. It doesnt matter if it is the same industry or not.

I would avoid the Blue Cross name is possible. If you business remains small, it wont be an issue. However, if you think your Blue Cross production is going to get somewhat big, get ready to be sued.

That was in the UK though. If they wanted too they could have kept using WWF here.
