Nobody else had started one so i went ahead. For those wondering, the game thread unwritten rules are not in effect during Spring Training. Anyone can feel free to start a game thread regardless of the outcome of the previous game.

Damn, this game is incognito. I was hoping it'd be on the radio somewhere... :(

No radio, not even Cards radio. At least there's Gameday.

Gaby with a 2 RBI double. Hanley and Infante score. 2-0 Fish.

Man, no media coverage at all. And I was all geeked up for game No. 1...

Ani pitches around a four pitch walk. 2-0 Marlins going to the 2nd.

Excellent. There's a good way to get your spring training audition started.

HR Lance Berkman. 4-1.

Ani gives up another XBH (Laird double) but gets out of it with just the one run. 4-1 going to the 3rd.

Back-to-back doubles for Gaby.

Adalberto Mendez in. Ani: 2 IP, 2 H, ER, BB, K

Joe Thurston in at 2B.

Mendez pitches around a leadoff walk. 5-1 going to the 4th.

Ozzie Martinez in at SS, Wes Helms in at 1B, John Raynor in at LF.

Bottom 5: Bonifacio in for Wise in CF, Josh Kroeger in at DH, Davis in for Hayes at C, Darian Downs (who?) pitching.

Mendez: 2 IP, 1 H, 1 BB

Good to see Matty go yard....

Had no clue Berkman was on the Cards. Is he going to be there everyday RF? If so, their CF better have JP speed because they have to cows in left and right...

Anibal 15 pitches 10 strikes, only 1 walk, pretty much around the plate all day.... I like it

Daniel Descalso knocks in Tyler Greene, who singled. 5-2.

Adron Chambers knocks in Descalso. 5-3. Chambers to second on Raynor's throw.

End 5, 5-3 Fish.

Bottom 6: Scott Cousins in for Petersen at RF, Greg Dobbs in for Dominguez at 3B.

Victor Garate (double who?) now pitching. Downs: 1.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, BB.

Garate gets through the rest of the 6th and 7th despite loading the bases and balking. Still 5-3 going to the 8th.

Top 8: Cousins RBI single, driving in Helms, who walked and and was sacrificed to second by Raynor. Good small ball there by the (potential) bench guys. 6-3.

Bottom 8: Vinny Rotino in for Davis at C. Steve Cishek pitching.

Garate: 1.2 IP, 2 H, 2 K.

Top 9: Three pitch inning for St. Louis. :|

Bot 9: Cishek closes it out. Marlins win 6-3.

Anibal Sanchez: 2 IP, 2 H, ER, BB, K

Matt Dominguez: 1-3, 2 RBI, HR

Gaby Sanchez: 2-2, 2 2B, 2 RBI

Bot 9: Cishek closes it out. Marlins win 6-3.

I really like Cishek. His K/9 has always been good. I wonder if he can ever make the team.

Is that definate or taken from Gameday/box score? They dont record pitch counts in Spring games.
