They could have a winning record and I tink a mini fire sale will still happen. This division is sadly a Philly/Atl fight...
June 15, 201115 yr The Wilpons sold a minority stake in the Mets to David Einhorn for $200 Million to repay loans and make payroll - and if they can't afford to keep the team a float, a part of the agreement with the new minority owner allows him to buy out the Wilpons. So it appears for now they are at least able to tread water.
