The D-Backs signed Jesse Orosco to a minor league

He is about 109 now, isn't he?

Just goes to prove that a lefty can stay around for a long time, especially if he can get one or two lefties out.

wow. that guy has been around the block more times than paris hilton.

Jesse Orosco is applauded for his service in the Spanish-American War.

That's funny. Arizona picked up Orosco just so they can have him pitch to one guy (BOnds)

hey, watch it, paris hilton is a very classy woman :shifty

Future newsflash: At the age of 75, pitcher Jesse Orosco joins the Baghdad Infidels, his 36th Major League team. Thanks to genetic engineering, he will be an effective pitcher until the age of 90. :lol

he does better against barry than anybody. That's the only reason why he's still in the bigs

I can't believe OF #25 can't handle the 100 year old...

Orosco's baseball career started in 1979.

Since then he's played for:

  • 79-87: Mets
  • 88 Dodgers
  • 89-91 Indians
  • 92-94 Brewers
  • 95-99 Orioles
  • 00 Cards
  • 01-02 Dodgers (again)
  • 03 Twins/Yanks/Padres

And now in 2004 he's a D-Back...

I can't believe OF #25 can't handle the 100 year old... for some reason he owns barry. That's the only reason why he's still around.

Orosco: "If I remember where I left the ginko, I can learn to throw a Palm Ball."

And a couple of years ago, the D-backs had Mike Morgan who's almost as old and played for 12 different teams I believe.
