Gary Sheffield is a HOF'er with the numbers i just heard Rich and Tommy talk about. Did anyone catch if they said he wanted to go in as a Marlin? I missed the first part of it.

They quoted him as saying that he would want to go in as a Marlin. I remember hearing his name linked with some steroid stuff, but I don't remember if it was ever proven that he used em and how badly it tarnished his rep if at all. So that might always factor too.

Oh look John Buck just improved his CS% to 15 it's only the league worst by like 8%.

(This is where MarlinsKidd puts his debbie downer photo.)

Ok, and good topic of discussion on the steroids issue, we can't just ignore every good player in the 90's because there is a chance they may have done steroids, and what I mean in saying that is that some of those players would have still been in the HOF even without steroids (Roger Clemens) just to name one.

The 90's was a tarnished decade, but baseball still existed and there were still players who would have hit 50 HR's... Now 73, thats questionable.

Yeah it seems like there are some who just want to forget about the whole decade and want to keep as many players who had their prime in that era out of the HOF as possible. It's pretty unfair I think especially considering how the MLB as a whole turned a blind eye to the problem.

How many???

6. Looking at MLB.com they also lead the league in RBI in situations where the bases are loaded with 94.

Thats surprising really, or maybe its hard to get the bitter taste of June out of the mouth.

sh*t is the word of the day down at field level .

?

Also Hanley couldn't throw home, he takes all his time picking up ground balls.
