Our MVP showed his great defensive skills and made a great throw to 1B.

Right. Because that is the single reason we lost the game.

Actually, it is. If he makes a routine throw, the game is over.

Well I'm happy. Stanton hit a bomb and he's the only reason I watch the games now. 472 feet!!!!

Well, 77 mph slider in middle of plate didn't fool that old guy at the plate...when Gameday said 'in play, run(s)' I knew it was a homer...

I love the double team threat of Leo and Choate in this game... :fit ..nope, this one sums up feelings... :raining

Leo did great tonight.

He allowed one hit to a very good hitter.

The very good hitter should've never been up to hit. Fowler's hit was a piece of sh*t and, again, he would've been out had the rundown been executed.

Leo also K'd Wigginton in a tough spot in the 8th.

He did very little wrong. Should've had a 4 out save.

The bullpen is the only thing about this team that is really good. The bullpen and Mike Stanton.

Stanton

Growth of Petersen.

Vaz quest for 2,500 K's and lowering his ERA.

I think you're the only one who cares about that.

Dobbs didn't put any of those runners on or give up the HR to Giambi. It's not his fault.

Millions of factors could have changed the game. It is what it is.

But to put the entire loss on Dobbs is crazy.

I would have to agree with Erick on this one.

BP gave up a 3 run JACK...

That was Choate, not Leo.

And the BP pitches 3.1 scoreless innings in a one-run game tonight if Greg Dobbs makes a routine throw.

The only guy who could've possibly screwed that up more is Wes Helms.

Wrong, wrong wrong... pitching wins and loses games silly.

You're not allowed to defend Leo, Erick.

You know, because he's the whipping boy and all.

Seriously, he pitched well. Leo is one unlucky SOB though. It seems like every time the 9th inning comes around something happens against the poor guy, whether it be an error, an infield single, a bloop base hit, etc. etc.

choate certainly didnt help leo's era.

leo deserved much better than that. i cant believe how in the blink of an eye i thought the game was won and then we lose.

Leo hadn't put a baserunner on at the time.

The bullpen had been lights out all night.

Again, if Dobbs makes a simple throw, the game is over. I'm not sure how else to say it. He deserves the majority of the blame, without a doubt.

You didn't even watch the game.

I'm not even sure what that comment means.

Before that Dobbs play (which would've ended the game tonight), the bullpen was great, as they've been for most of the year, basically.

Oh Erick you're such a bully, (you're probably small and inconvenient) and you make up for it on a forum board, good for you dude.

I'm stunned that..that...like...wow..really? I know I ain't the only one that cares about Vaz's feat. He has a solid lead as the current Active MLB Strikeout King.

Wrong, wrong wrong... pitching wins and loses games silly.

Pitching wins and loses games in connection with the offense, equal yet opposite.

Defense only wins games by getting outs.
